    I can't help but notice that ‘I take responsibility’ is in quotes, while for not having National Guard at the Capitol, is not. Meaning the Post made up the latter part of their salacious headline.

    I read it. And there's no mention of Trump offering the Capitol Police Board National Guard assistance. Trump, however, was the leader. That makes it his responsibility to ensure there was proper security. He failed. Miserably.
