Update(1145ET): Tensions were certainly on display before and during the Trump-Zelensky meeting at Trump Tower in New York. Going into the meeting, both men looked stern-faced, with Trump making a series of casual remarks which appeared aimed at gently belittling the Ukrainian leader and putting him in his place. This comes days after Zelensky went after J.D. Vance, and came close to directly criticizing Trump himself for calling for ceasefire and talks with Moscow.

Pushing the usual stupid partisan, pro-Russian zerohedge propaganda. How is this different than SPAM for a product and linking us to it?

Trump supports Putin, and wants Zelensky to give Putin what he wants.
Trump was impeached for essentially extorting Zelensky for help in the election against Biden.

Biden and Harris support Ukraine defending itself against Russian invasion and are supportive of Zelensky and critical of Putin.

On any single issue, every time, Trump is the loser that no one should support.

I'm sure you'll engage in "debate" in this thread...beyond your obviously phony partisan sourcing, you'll do a deep dive into the issues with some keen insights and reasonable, good faith back and forth.

Trump, like me, despises war.

Zekensky should have taken the meeting with Trump but should not have followed that up appearing with Trump in front of the assorted media.

Zelensky looked pained standing there and well he should have.

That said, nothing is more painful than watching News Channel hosts and guests tying themselves in knots trying to say something newsworthy or relevant ABOUT ANYTHING. They are a joke.......across the News Channels, they are a joke.

So if America was attacked, you'd unconditionally, immediately surrender because you "hate war".

He had no choice. But he didn't cooperate with Trump on his extortion scheme and Hunter Biden doesn't matter anymore, so Zelensky, as far as Trhmp is concerned, is surely ****ed.

What possible good did Zelensky think he would do for himself or Ukraine meeting with Trump and then standing there with him before the assorted media. There was a point about 48 hours ago when the reporting in the public domain was that the Trump meeting was off. Zelensky should have left it there......gotten the hell out of Dodge while the getting was good. He could have left without taking any flak for it.

There is simply no way to discourage Trump from what he will do with regard to Ukraine if he gets back to the WH.

A very bad look President Zelensky.

Trump vetoed a withdrawal from supporting fighting in Yemen, sent troops to Afghanistan and Syria, and bombed an Iranian general.

You're either being deliberately dishonest or just don't know very much about him.

Zelensky looked ridiculous in his little "army man" outfit standing next to the hulking figure of Donald.

In the years of his leadership I never saw Zelensky look like a comedian UNTIL TODAY.
