Your odds of being killed by terrorism.... [W:194]

Your odds of being killed by terrorism.....( in the West )............ has increased significantly since the West decided to wage wars in the ME that have destroyed entire countries and completely destabilized the whole region , leaving millions upon millions of people dead , maimed , uprooted ,homeless and traumatized.

Whatever threats from terrorism we face pale in comparison to the crimes and state terrorism we have allowed our governments to get away with in the above.

Spare a thought for those people mentioned here who will , I will wager , have had scant or no analysis WRT the threats to them from our own state terrorism.

The two are not unrelated.

If you want to reduce the risk of terrorism for yourselves , stop supporting/apologizing for the terrorism your own do towards others

So all of the Iraqis killed in 1991 were " terrorists ". As were all of the Afghans from 2001 , all the Iraqis between 1991-present, all the Libyans all the Syrians......... millions and millions of people affected by all of this mentioned above.......all are terrorists.

You do understand WAR in Iraq was due to Saddam and his acts.... Right?

You do understand WAR in Afghanistan was due to THEIR support and harboring of terrorists... Right?

And Libya and Syria was not terrorism related but supporting popular uprisings against dictatorships.... Not terror. Right?

Your statements , like the one above and the one before it , are just standard apologetics for the crimes and state terrorism dished out by your own governments. It takes an awful lot of self delusion , selective viewing and lack of knowledge imo , to hold such views.

No, but killing innocents by drone is. Taking the country to war under fraud is not only treason, but also terrorism. Killing US citizens without due process is both terrorism and treason.

Ask the good folks who were killed by toddlers with guns. You're just one toddler away from being a victim...... period!

Sooner or later, I'll die and so will you. The odds of either of us dying due to terrorism are pretty slim.

Because its' used to control a lot of people though the use of fear and intimidation. If you don't fight it, it will proliferate. The stupid stats you posted only reflect what is happening, the fight is about preventing worse from happening. Without fighting terrorism, those numbers would be far worse. That's what the fight is about. Your attempt to minimize that effect is not well thought out.

Libyan support of terrorists? Maybe Iranian support of Hezbollah? Perhaps Hamas? Prior Afghanistan support of Al Qaeda?

i think you missed the point... and i don't know how. i have car insurance not because i expect a car crash but because i know it's a possibility. car crash is expensive but nessesary, like the fight against terror. that's the point.

its weird to me that you though that was a good rebuttal. it's possible that a terrorist organization with the stated goal of destroying the west could get and use a WMD "so your preparing for hypotheticals" yes "congratulations" thanks...

Yes, I understand what motivates you to buy car insurance. It also motivates me to buy car insurance.

We ordinary americans, and I assume you are just an ordinary American not employed by the federal government, know only what we're told about terror and all its semantic variants including the much-ballyhooed Global War On Terror.

And what we've been indoctrinated with in that regard is based largely upon fraud and deception. To begin with, what happened on 911 was a series of staged events, a false flag, meant to inflame the passions even as reason and analysis are abandoned. We've known for years that human perception can be easily manipulated. The brain is easy to trick, as is demonstrated weekly on Nat Geo's program Brain Games.

So as you buy into the "insurance" against "terrorism", you have not a clue (it appears) that we have all been deceived and indoctrinated regarding the Global War On Terror. :peace

Don't bother. He will just do as he always done and hijack any thread and go on and on about minutia and contradict himself. To him everything is a conspiracy, and we are all controlled by the Federal Government, ZOG, the New World Order, and ten thousand other things that rule the world.

I used to try and have conversations with him at one time. And at times he does sound very rational. Then he goes right off the deep end where everything is all tied together and part of a vast conspiracy.

If you want to talk conspiracy, you can always go to CT land, where they go on about this over and over again all day long. Many of us in the more serious areas of the forum (like Military and History) wish he would just go away and stop trying to inject his nonsense theories into more serious topics.

Why, because of the Jews of course! And the New World Order and Muslims wanting the Hagia Sophia to start their own World Order.

Trust me, as somebody who has seen the manipulation of the CTers in here for years, there is nothing interesting in it. Other then their desire to inflict their own damaged mindset into as many others, like a virus. And once you fall into the CT Black Hole, you rarely come out of it again.
