Just caught the end of the 'Bama/Auburn game and if you missed it........
Game tied with one second on the clock. Alabama tries a 57 yd FG for the win. The kick is short. Auburn fields it in the end zone and runs it 105 yards for the win.
I don't recall ever seeing that before.

So much for the "what do you got to lose , just go out and try a 57 yard field goal" mentality.

That game was so good my wife actually watched the entire second half with me. Couldn't believe it.
It does, however, piss me off. Ohio St, regardless of if they beat Mich St, does not deserve to be in the National Title game. Dudes barely beat a Michigan team that has looked horrible for 5 games in a row and a Wisconsin team that just lost to Penn St. Meanwhile, Auburn has only lost to a team that is top 10 itself and just beat the #6 team in the country plus they have looked great against everyone else minus Georgia (who were top 10 at the beginning of the season before injuries crushed them).
It should be the winner of Missouri/Auburn versus Rapeis Winston and the Florida St Seminoles (assuming they beat Duke lol).
I was sitting there saying out loud... "This had better be a fake field goal attempt." That dude missed three shorter field goals earlier. Well, missed two and one blocked but still.

ahhhh .. well.... not that day he didn't.

It was a different kicker on the last one.
Well, at least someone noticed. It wasn't a good decision by Saban. Good evening 2m...
