Trump and his minions are pretending that yesterday's indictments mean nothing. In fact, the Dotard is trying to argue that the indictment proves Russians did not sway the election his way---an amazing bit of denial that only an idiot would conclude or could possibly believe. Anyway, this article states the obvious.

Friday's indictments strongly suggest that the millions of Russian rubles spent to support and give credibility to Trump's anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, anti-black activist themes had to have had an impact in such an extremely close presidential election. After all, Trump adopted these very themes because he thought they would help him win the election. When the Russians, pretending to be Americans, funded Hillary Clinton opposition groups using Trump-manufactured "Make America Great Again" themes, the President says, "No impact." Who is he kidding?

Russian activity did not sway the election. Period.

According to Rosenstein it didn't affect the outcome. But I guess you will ignore the DAG of the DOJ....cause, ya know....TRUMP!

Millions of dollars in free Russian advertisements targeting swing states with Trump's MAGA message most certainly had an influence. Denial must run deep in RW land.

The "article" was from Pravda, I mean CNN, so it is Fake News, not even worth reading.

I think McMaster acknowledged as much today. The charge against Trump is collusion and being a traitor. Lets see if Mueller charges the dossier folks for interference and looks into who paid foreigners to work for a presidential candidate.

Will be interesting to see how the Clinton minions will try and spin this.

Silly. From your own link:

Polling cannot tell us whether voters might have chosen differently if the Russian influence operation hadn't happened.

Yes, and how exactly would Trump know that the Russians did not sway the election? He doesn't know, of course. In fact just on the bare facts alone Trump hasn't had time to know. Unless, of course, Trump has known about the Russian activities for a while now. That would open another can of worms.

President Stable Genius, who has maintained all along that the Russians did not meddle in the elections now claims that the meddling, which heretofore he claimed never existed, did not sway the election. Trump assumes or would have his base assume - at his direction - that the Russians committed no foul so no harm was done. (I wish the Mods would fix the puking emoji)

Using Trumpian logic the indictments we have seen from Mueller are the sum total of the Russian meddling. Of course, the activities in the indictments were not likely Putin's sole effort. Hell, they may well be collateral effort, a small part of a much larger propaganda campaign. Why would they not be? We don't know at this point. Does Trump?

Trump would have everyone fold up their tents and go home. Game over. Problem is Mueller has proved Trump wrong. There was no witch hunt.

As of the public announcement of the indictments we know that anything Trump and the GOP do to stop the investigation would reek of obstruction. We now have proof that Russia meddled in the election. With nothing to hide Trump should impose immediate sanctions on Russia and encourage Mueller to proceed his investigation.

The only thing obvious is that CNN is totally ignorant of the fact that the Russian ads were pro Bernie, anti Hillary, pro and anti Trump, pro and anti LGBT, pro and anti Muslims, pro and anti Christians, pro and anti immigration, etc. etc. etc.
The ads were all over the political spectrum, plus ...

"... Most of the coverage of Russian meddling involves their attempt to effect the outcome of the 2016 US election. I have seen all of the Russian ads and I can say very definitively that swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal. The majority of the Russian ad spend happened AFTER the election. We shared that fact, but very few outlets have covered it because it doesn’t align with the main media narrative of T[r]ump and the election. ... - Rob Goldman, Facebook VP for Ads

maybe not, but the effort was made. Doesn't that piss you off>

Doesn't it piss you off that they tried? Don't you get more pissed off wondering who else will try next time?

They paid people to dress up like Hillary Clinton and be locked up in a Jail-cell type cage at Trump rallies.

But certainly this had no influence on the outcome.

Only if it doesn't affect the right. If this **** happened and Obama got elected, the whole of the United States would implode.

Could you imagine? If it was found that the Russians interfered and got Obama elected? What if the Russians interfered and got Hillary elected?

these folks do not give a **** if Russia raped Grandma; they got their candidate Mr. Small Hands in The White House & that is all that matters

to Hell with the Russians; to the GOP the Russians would make great Americans ........... oh, wait ........

Doesn't it piss you off that they tried? Don't you get more pissed off wondering who else will try next time?

Of course it does. But being upset at Russia does not change the legitimacy of the election as the political left would like us to think. No one can prove if the Russians swayed even one vote. Ultimately, the election was lost by Hillary Clinton because...SHE WAS HILLARY CLINTON! End of story.

I know the right was running around dismissing Russia's influence and saying things like "the 1980's called and they want their international policy back."

Oh...wait...that was Obama.

Maybe it is time the left put a sock in it. We've been correctly identifying real problems while the left is consumed with Bruce Jenner or whatever HE calls HIMSELF today. Why don't you go play gender renaming games while the adults deal with the real world problems.

To be honest I'm conflicted. As an American yes, it does piss me off that the Russians tried to interfere. However also as an American all the advertising and words is just free speech. A Right that I apply to one and all no matter where they are in the world. Which should I put above the other? Country? Or Rights? That is the dilemma that I have.

If Wikileaks did not release the emails it had, clinton would have won.

Who is talking about Caitlyn Jenner? Where the hell did that come from?

Agreed. It's hard to imagine that sort of thing having any influence.
