I ran into this video today by pure accident and I was impressed by the detail given regarding the Climate Change problem we are facing.

I was searching for some kind of explanation on how we can economically and realistically change from reliance on Carbon products to Clean Energy products. This video does a good job in explaining what needs to be done even though it is almost impossible to do that in the 11-minutes the video lasts. I will search for more information that will fill in the holes that were not explained here.

Nonetheless, it is a video that is worth watching in its entirety. It is more knowledge about the problem than most of us have now.

As promised, here is more of what is needed to de-carbonize

This is a bunch of over hyped BS. There are scienctific studies and plenty of data that questions and contradicts what is presented in this video. There are scientist who strongly disagree with the assumed rate of temperature increase and the assumed damage that has been caused and will be caused in the future. There is plenty of data that shows the numbers vary greatly based on a variety of studies and the "models" used to predict the effects and outcomes of Co2, and global climate change. The claims of more severe weather simply don't hold up if you look across the spectrum of information. Information and facts are cherry picked to help the global alarmist and the profiteers. Renewable energies are the next great market place for energy companies and controlling those and eliminating fossil fuel competition are paramount to control of the industry.
Here are a few articles on this topic. There are many more but these are a bit lengthy and I know few will actually read them.

Unfortunately for your "side of the story" this is reality:

Nearly all actively publishing climate scientists (97–98%) support the consensus on anthropogenic climate change, and the remaining 2% of contrarian studies either cannot be replicated or contain errors. A 2019 study found scientific consensus to be at 100%, and a 2021 study found that consensus exceeded 99%.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_consensus_on_climate_change

My entire life and everything I have done in it, has been about following the probabilities. Usually, anything above 60% is enough to go in that direction. When you have 97%+ saying there is a problem, I have to believe it. One of the first things I ever learned in my life is that at least 4% of the population (even among the most learned) will oppose anything. I remember the article I read on that occasion where over 100 people were asked if they would be happy if a cure for cancer was found and 4 of them said "no".

I can't and I won't ever go with the 3% that say that Global Warning is not occurring and is not a problem. I am not about to play the lottery when my life and the lives of others is involved. I am not personally a scientist (neither are you) and I do not personally have the knowledge to make such a decision. I go with the experts on this, especially when 97% of the experts say it is so.

Both videos are very good.

Here is one thing that cannot be denied:

Carbon dioxide causes about 20 percent of Earth's greenhouse effect; water vapor accounts for about 50 percent; and clouds account for 25 percent. ... Likewise, when carbon dioxide concentrations rise, air temperatures go up, and more water vapor evaporates into the atmosphere—which then amplifies greenhouse heating

I started the video and made it about 10 seconds. That was as long as it took to realize it was going to be misleading. The earth and its climate have been around quite abut longer than 10,000 years and fairly large temperature fluctuations are estimated to have occurred over that time. Perhaps this was addressed later but when you come out of the shoot in such a misleading fashion I’m not going to watch.

You can believe what you want to believe but one thing is certain, the industrial age has brought a lot of burning of carbon that had never happened in the history of the world. As such, comparing our past with now is totally useless.

One factor that is data/fact/truth is that when carbon dioxide concentrations rise, air temperatures rise and more water vapor evaporates from out atmosphere, which brings about greenhouse heating.

Every year there more burning of carbon and therefore it stands to reason that the world is geting warmer. If this pattern continues, simple common sense will tell you that the world will get warmer.

This is not a natural phenomenon. Burning of carbon dioxide is a man made thing and it will continue to make the earth get warmer, and warmer, and warmer until it is stopped or lessened.

You don't need to know rocket science to figure this out. You don't have to listen to different opinions and try to choose one or the other.

It is like eating, if you continue to eat more each day, you will get fatter. Do you need a scientist to tell you that?
