Trump seems oddly relaxed about Republican rival Nikki Haley. Is it because she doesn’t stand a chance?
Nimrata Nikki Haley (née Randhawa; born January 20, 1972[1]) is an American diplomat and politician who served as the 116th and first female Governor of South Carolina from 2011 to 2017, and as the 29th United States Ambassador to the United Nations for two years, from January 2017 through December 2018.[2]
Haley was born in Bamberg, South Carolina, and earned an accounting degree from Clemson University. She joined her family's clothing business, before serving as treasurer and president of the National Association of Women Business Owners. First elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 2004, she served three terms. In 2010, during her third term, she was elected governor of South Carolina, and she won re-election in 2014. Haley was the first female governor of South Carolina, the youngest governor in the country and the second governor of Indian descent (after fellow Republican Bobby Jindal of Louisiana). She was the first female Asian American governor, and in 2017 became the first Indian American in a presidential cabinet.
Sex appeal matters.Yes, I would... I find her to be a compelling and interesting politician. But of course this question has no context. Vote for her in a contest with whom? There are certainly people I might pick before her. For example between her and Tulsi Gabbard I might pick the latter.

Ron DeSantis would supposedly be ‘disloyal’ if he challenged Trump for the White House. Haley, meanwhile, ‘should do it’. Guess who’s a bigger threat, asks Arwa Mahdawiwww.theguardian.com
Would you vote for Nikki Haley?
Won't happen. Being female already eliminates her in the eyes of Righties, being of Indian heritage definitely will do her in with that crowd. It's going to be funny having a peopleof Indian heritage as prime minister of England AND president of the US- all at the same time.
That has exactly nothing to do with my opinion of either of them, and I find the comment mildly irritating.Sex appeal matters.
You seem to harbor a great deal of bigotry against those you disagree with. It is not the best quality, for sure.Won't happen. Being female already eliminates her in the eyes of Righties, being of Indian heritage definitely will do her in with that crowd.
It is to early yet for a special context.Yes, I would... I find her to be a compelling and interesting politician. But of course this question has no context. Vote for her in a contest with whom? There are certainly people I might pick before her. For example between her and Tulsi Gabbard I might pick the latter.
It is interesting! It's going to be funny having two people both of Indian heritage as prime minister of England AND president of the US- all at the same time.
Ha, ha...lthis^^coming from someone who voted for Biden/Harris.....Only someone who has suffered a psychological breakdown would vote for a Republican, Haley or otherwise.
Ha, Ha.......this^ coming from someone who hasn't noticed I am Canadian and couldn't have voted for Biden/HarrisHa, ha...lthis^^coming from someone who voted for Biden/Harris.....
Okay...then insert Justin Trudeau....Ha, Ha.......this^ coming from someone who hasn't noticed I am Canadian and couldn't have voted for Biden/Harris
Folks, you can't make this stuff up, this is how some folks on here react, impulsively and then end up with egg on their faces
No. I was telling you that you appear to be a bigot. You seem to think people who think differently than you would not elect a female leader, and yet we are talking about the 116th governor of a state that might be more a part of the deep, red, south than most any other in the US. Seems she did fine there.Really? THAT is how you read my comment? Are you telling me a majority of Righties would abide a female President and one of Indian heritage to boot???????????

WASHINGTON – Former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley will formally launch her 2024 presidential run on Feb. 15, becoming the first Republican to jump into the field to challenge Donald Trump, according to multiple sources familiar with her plans.
Haley has teased her presidential run for weeks, including a tweeted video this week in which she said: "It's time for a new generation to lead."
Aides are putting together a Feb. 15 announcement event in Charleston, S.C., according to three sources familiar with her plans who spoke to USA TODAY on condition of anonymity.
Who is Nikki Haley?
The daughter of Indian immigrants, Haley has described herself as the embodiment of the American Dream: college graduate, businesswoman and political leader who won long-shot races to the South Carolina state legislature and the governor's mansion.
