No, I’m not. Satanism’s core belief is individual freedom.

I agree individual freedom is a core part, but I gathered that particular creed was from the Wiccans. My bad, perhaps that is a creed shared.
There are many other similarities between the two, not the least that they are both woefully misunderstood by those who would be quickest to demonize them.

I understand satanism to be a little different, in that they believe all gods are man made and they believe in self determination.

If that's not what you had in mind, what was the definition you were operating from when asking the question? That they believe in god and the devil, and choose to worship the devil?

Yep. I support The Satanic Temple because it is an extremely effective tool in fighting attempts to weaken the separation of church and state because religious conservatives, who are seeking to deny the separation of church and state, cannot claim to be Christians if they deny the existence of Satan. Satan is a core idea of the fight between good and evil in the Christian religion so if they deny that Satan exists they have denied a core concept of their own religious dogma. By demanding that Satan be given equal standing with their conservative Christian beliefs they back down in their fight to enforce Christian ideas with the power of the state such as in public schools and public policy meetings.

I have to admit this is a clever strategy.
I haven't seen something this clever since the migrants were sent to Martha's Vinyard.

What's more important is whether they want to force others to follow their religious traditions, or whether they believe as a society we should have separation of church and state...religious/non-religious tolerance.

If they put religion above that freedom, for everyone, then it's a problem, no matter the religion.
If they put religious freedom (and from religion) as a priority over their own personal beliefs, I wouldn't consider their religion as overly important.
