What kind of sick freak would want to see that

Absolutely not - for strictly moral reasons.

Probably not, unless I had a personal stake in the crime committed.... otherwise, I'm sure I can find better things to do with my time...

Now, if they put it on TV? Sure, I'd watch... but that's another subject...

No I wouldn't, certainly not if they paid me.

It depends on the type of execution and who's being executed. If some murderer was getting sent to the chair then probably not, but I would definitely go to Saddam's hanging just so I could get some awesome video footage and send it in to break.com.

Depends on how my psychopathy is doing on that particular day. If I'm feeling Charles Manson-esque. I'd probably go. If I'm feeling O.J. Simpson-ish. Maybe not so much.

What is "and execution"?
Anyhow, I probably wouldn't volunteer to see that either.

I would, if volunteer observers were necessary. These things must be monitored, and I am not so squeamish that I can't face the consequences of policies I support.

Sure but only if the served popcorn.

I am that Sick Freak!

....though we're usually called "patriots".....

I would be willing to perform that execution per firing squad if the need is present also.

And if such "executions" need to be summery-executions because some dude is threatening my family, or in the future, my unit, I will have no hesitancy in issuing that summery-execution.

I don't see what the problem is, it wouldn't be anything I haven't seen on Michael Savage's website, YouTube or a number of underground websites I dare not confess to knowing about..

We'd get paid for it?
Well....you get paid for Jury duty to, and this would be just another civic duty....so if I bring in some Taco Bell would I have to share with Cherokee?

i wouldn't because that is sick. why would someone want to witness someone else get killed?

Your damn right you will but I'll bring in some KFC and a 12pack of Pepsi. Are coolers allowed inside?

Same here. Voting to support the death penalty and voting to convict are both the same as throwing the switch yourself-- you don't get brownie points for making someone else do the dirty work.

Why is it sick? It's sick because society made it sick.

My reasons are because it's freakin awesome. People love violence, just look at the ancient Romans. My theory is that it allows us to let out our natural violent urges in a safe why by seeing violence, and that's why I believe violent video games are ok. Those kids who kill their friends over video games I don't think were influenced by the game, but rather by the unfairness of the game or their friend, which can be extremely aggravating in anything, and combined with an angry person, can be fatal.

It's nice to see consistency in your beliefs even though I don't support the death penalty.

Cherokee Cherokee Cherokee, you've got alot to learn my friend. Executions are supposed to be watched with buffalo wings. Popcorn is for C-SPAN.

you have apoint but video games and movies are different from real life. i would never want to witness another human being get executed right in front of me. video games are different because they are not real and there are no consequences if you get killed because you just come back to life. it doesn't happen that way in real life

I have no interest in witnessing and execution but if asked to volunteer I would do it and I don't consider anyone that did it a sick freak.......

That's true, but they do allow people to release their violent urges. I admit that witnessing an execution and killing somebody in a video game are very much different though.

You haven't really given release to your violent urges until you're washing the blood from your hands and nursing your own wounds. All of this violence by proxy is a big part of what's making us sick... it gives us the rush of power, without paying the price for it.

More people should fight. It frightens me that we have people discussing warfare and school violence who've never been punched in the mouth.

Lol tell that to the 5'5" 140 lb. guy

I agree though

Hell, I was smaller than that first time someone pulled a knife on me.

Damn...

I think parents are too protective of their kids these days and need to let them get in fights and stuff like when they were kids. Like you said, "It frightens me that we have people discussing warfare and school violence who've never been punched in the mouth". It's only going to get worse in the future.
