My wish would be that even if this 'science' is found to be fraudulent that we, as a people, continue to make this world a better than we found it but, without all the burdensome taxes and economy killing regulation.
Economy killing regulation like "you have to scrub some of the uranium out of your coal emissions?"
Since the radioisotopes are part of the coal, even if you can scrub it the ash is still radioactive.Economy killing regulation like "you have to scrub some of the uranium out of your coal emissions?"
Telegraph's "leaked" report = 5% uncertaintly vs the real IPCC report = 95% certainty that global warming is caused by human activity....
An international panel of scientists has found with near certainty that human activity is the cause of most of the temperature increases of recent decades, and warns that sea levels could conceivably rise by more than three feet by the end of the century if emissions continue at a runaway pace....
The report emphasizes that the basic facts about future climate change are more established than ever, justifying the rise in global concern. It also reiterates that the consequences of escalating emissions are likely to be profound....
The coming report will be the fifth major assessment from the group, created in 1988. Each report has found greater certainty that the planet is warming and greater likelihood that humans are the primary cause.....

[h=2]Getting a second opinion on IPCC’s view of climate change[/h] Posted on September 16, 2013 by Anthony Watts
A common argument in warmist circles goes like this missive from Prince Charles:
“If a doctor sees a child with a fever, he can’t wait for [endless] tests… The risk of delay is so enormous that we can’t wait until we are absolutely sure the planet is dying.”But, if the treatment prescribed means your child will face significant personal restrictions in the future due to the treatment, and the doctor refuses to discuss alternatives, wouldn’t you as a parent want to get a second opinion? Of course you would, and that is what the NIPCC report is all about. As I noted in Excerpts from the leaked AR5 Summary for Policy Makers there doesn’t appear to be a single climate skeptic involved, so getting a second opinion is the role this NIPCC reports fills. Note – I had no role nor input to this report, but I think it is important to consider if for no other reason than to get a second opinion. – Anthony
Major New Report on Tuesday: Climate Science Says Global Warming Is Not a Crisis
The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) on Tuesday, Sept. 17 will release a major new report on climate change science produced by an international team of 40 scientists at a press conference at the James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago. Conference call available to those who cannot attend.

The Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change (NIPCC) on Tuesday, Sept. 17 will release a major new report on climate change science produced by an international team of 40 scientists at a press conference at the James R. Thompson Center in downtown Chicago.
The new report, titled Climate Change Reconsidered II: Physical Science, challenges what its authors say are the overly alarmist reports of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), whose next report is due out later this month.

The OP is about the IPCC report... not the Koch's NIPCC nonsense.
The OP is about the IPCC report... not the Koch's NIPCC nonsense.
Ah. Fearful of debate. Too bad.eace
That would be like debating the science vs belief.
Actually, it's science vs. science. In a world in which Dr. Judith Curry proclaims, "The science is in flux," there is no credible claim of consensus.eace
Thats what the Koch funded deniers would have you believe.
"...More than 800 authors, selected from around 3,000 nominations, are involved in writing the [IPCC} report" and peer reviewed by over 1500 volunteer scientists....compared to what...7 NIPCC paid deniers?

It's so silly seeing you folks so scared that your belief system is crumbling that you so throw "ZOMG! KOCH BROTHERS!!" as if their funding is driving the skeptical argument and ignoring the money pumped into AGW by world governments with MUCH deeper pockets than any billionaire.
The secret is that we don't really need to argue with you folks anymore. Mother Nature is making a hell of a counter argument for us.
That, and we are we still paying a tax for Co2 emissions? This AGW thing really seems to be imploding lately and I'll bet in 10 years young people will laugh about the whole episode, "stupid old people".
The article claims to have a copy of the final draft of the upcoming IPCC report.Who are these "top climate scientists", how many of them are there, and who appointed them "top"?
We could sell it to Iran.
You're not suggesting people are to evil or stupid to make those decisions without a government mandate, are you?
Since the radioisotopes are part of the coal, even if you can scrub it the ash is still radioactive.
Here is an example of poorly conceived regulations.
