Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI) faced a “heated” discussion about health care at a town hall meeting yesterday, with people in the crowd who were heckling, interrupting, and filibustering him.
One vocal attendee was a woman named Heather Blish, who identified herself as “just a mom from a few blocks away” and “not affiliated with any political party.” When interviewed by the local NBC affiliate, Blish insisted she was not a member of the Republican Party. “I left the party,” she said. Blish’s statements, however, are distortions. From NBC’s report:
Her LinkedIn page shows something different. She was the vice chair of the Republican Party of Kewaunee County until last year. She worked on the John Gard campaign, who ran unsuccessfully against Kagen last year. And it says she’s a part of the Republican Party for Kagen’s district, as well as the Republican Party of Wisconsin, and the Republican National Committee.
Huffington Post’s Sam Stein notes, “Blish’s deliberate misleading of the local NBC reporter feeds into the suspicion that she — like other protesters at these events — are there because of political reasons not policy disagreements.”
Indeed, Republicans have been heavily promoting these protests. Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX) has said that the time for polite town halls is “over,” and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) has said that Democrats will have a “very, very hot summer.” State Republican Parties have also joined in.
Here is her LinkedIn page.

In other words she is a bold faced liar, something that it seems Republicans can gracefully do without any shame.

People who disrupt these meetings should be arrested for disorderly conduct. Politicians who encourage this behavior should be ashamed.
People who claim that only Republicans lie are liars.
And so you erroneously think that Democrats are clean and pure as the wind-driven snow???This woman is just the first that is going to be exposed as a fraud. She is tool.
And so you erroneously think that Democrats are clean and pure as the wind-driven snow???
No, I wasn't going there. You Libs think that you alone are qualified to govern so let's go over the pattern, OK??Please the Excuse that the "Dems made them do it" is really wearing thin.
It doesn't hold water.
Posts #3 & #4 imply that lying is specificly a Republican problem.I did not claim that only Republicans lie, only that they are very competent at shamelessly lying...repeatedly. And repeating those lies, even after being caught shamelessly lying. Hey, everyone makes mistakes, but this woman did not make a mistake, and it is not a mistake to continue to claim that she is not affiliated with any party. Any further advancing that notion is a shameless liar.

Talking about individuals is different from talking about groups. If I said that Dems have an honesty problem that certainly implies a problem that's specific to them.No posts 3 & 4 specifically say Republicans lied, not that the Dems do not. There is no inference to only Republicans lie.
If I say "Bush lied", that does not mean that I am saying Bill Clinton didn't.

Yeah!! To hell with all that freedom crap!
It's something Liberals hate!!So, which protest was instigated by an 'infiltrator' again??
Was it : YouTube - Town Hall Protest - Tampa
OR was it : YouTube - Health Care Chants and Protests
or maybe : YouTube - Lloyd Doggett's meeting on Obamacare in south Austin, TX, 1 Aug 2009
or was it : YouTube - Fed Up Americans Erupt Over Obama's Govt Healthcare Takeover, Scolded by Pompous Kathleen Sebelius
How about : YouTube - Arkansas Health Care Town Hall Gets Heated: "Get the Government the Hell Outta Our Way!"
could it be : YouTube - Town hall meeting with John Dingell 08-06-09
This has NOTHING to do with 'political opposition' nearly as much as it has to do with the fact that people are waking up from the 'american dream' and are getting pissed off at what's been going on around them...There's videos of people confronting about 20 different senators, left and right,... THIS IS the beginning of the end of the status quo.... and I can tell you it's going to get crazy from here. I can guarantee with the numbers of people showing up at these events, and with the present drop in Obama's popularity (depending on the specific study, it seems that Obama's already lost approuval of at least 5% of the people that voted for him, with an approuval rating of 40-45%, that the opinions represented by the people voicing out their concerns is completely BIPARTISAN... everybody hates obama's health-care takeover without prejudice.
It's the smell of freedom brewing.
It's something Liberals hate!!
