Gun control saves the day again :mrgreen:A 25-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of a woman who was reportedly beheaded in the back garden of a North London home on Thursday afternoon. Officers used a Taser to apprehend the suspect, who is being treated at a hospital for injuries, according to Huffington Post UK. One officer also suffered a broken wrist, police said in a statement.

Well, it`s terrible. And we don`t know wether it was the attack terror-related or not. And another point in this: "officers used a taser to apprehend the suspect". I note that this is a dangerous criminal, rather than a simple thief. Why do our policemen shoot-to-kill in any situation?
You need glasses, then. She looks black/Spanish.She looks pretty white to me.
...or New York, or provincial Alberta, or beach-side Malibu, or downtown Rio. So, tell us what the relevance of his 'conversion' to Islam 5 years ago might have made to his mental health situation. If you say he may have been mentally ill then of course he well might have been. But that goes for anyone who decapitates innocent people, whether it's in a London suburb or an Iraqi desert.
You need glasses, then. She looks black/Spanish.
Olive skin is considered white.
Using that definition, all Chinese, Korean, and Japanese are 'white people'. I think you know how absurd you're being, using social categories as racial truths. No I don't need glasses thank you. Maybe you need to do a bit of research on the victim before commenting. She was Italian, Palmira Silva, the 82-year-old great-grandmother and semi-retired Italian Café owner. She has olive skin color like most in the Mediterranean. Olive skin is considered white.
And you were the one that started it by claiming she wasn't white. And you were wrong. The man that killed her is very black. He is a converted Muslim. His actions are no different than those joining ISIS that kill defenseless women and children. His actions are no different than those Islamic fascists that kidnapped school girls rapped and forced them to marry. Or those Islamic rape gangs that abduct young girls, addict them to heroin so they can be gang banged daily. His actions are no more abhorant than those Muslim men who force their women to wear burkas and not allow them to be educated. And the penalty of disobeying their commands is death.Only by those who make it a point of defining the difference between skin tones.
Nonsense. The victim was white. The killer was black. End of story.Using that definition, all Chinese, Korean, and Japanese are 'white people'. I think you know how absurd you're being, using social categories as racial truths.
You said the victim was Italian, that means the victim was Hispanic. She would need Caucasian blood in her line somewhere to change that, and judging from the picture she very clearly has no Caucasian ancestors. She's Hispanic, not White. The victim was white.
You are being ridiculous. Her married name was Silva, a Portugese name. All part of the Mediterranean where the olive skin abide. Regardless she was considered white. The victim was Hispanic.
Your DNA doesn't change when you marry. Your spouse is not your ancestor. Her married name would matter if we were talking about her children, but we're not, and so it doesn't.You are being ridiculous. Her married name was Silva, a Portugese name.
Thus you regard all Chinese, Korans and Japanese as 'white'.All part of the Mediterranean where the olive skin abide.
She's Hispanic, not White, but if you want to blindly believe the report anyway then you should believe all of it, including this:Regardless she was considered white.
Would you like to recant your rant about terrorism or your rant about ethnicity, you can't have it both ways without committing a logical fallacy.Sandlin said in a statement. “Whilst it is too early to speculate on what the motive behind this attack was, I am confident, based on the information currently available to me, that it is not terrorist-related.”

You said the victim was Italian, that means the victim was Hispanic.Hispanic means someone from Latin America, not Europe.

You appear to be running all over the place here. You claim the victim was white, that he may have been non compis mentis, and now you want me to assess his mental health through newspaper articles from a few thousand miles away. I'll not bother....or New York, or provincial Alberta, or beach-side Malibu, or downtown Rio. So, tell us what the relevance of his 'conversion' to Islam 5 years ago might have made to his mental health situation.
In fact it was you who raised the subject.Only by those who make it a point of defining people by the difference in skin tones.
I wonder why they didn't just say she's Italian, then.Italians aren't typically considered Hispanic.
Hispanic means someone from Spain or Roman Hispania, which roughly comprised the Iberian Peninsula including the contemporary states of Andorra, Portugal, and Spain and the Crown Colony or British Overseas Territories of Gibraltar.Hispanic means someone from Latin America, not Europe.
I wonder why they didn't just say she's Italian, then.
.
Sure but this wasn't an Italian media made by & for Italians. Even Northern Europe regards Southern Europe as colored, not white.Maybe because many Italians consider themselves white.

Excuse me? Italians are now Hispanic? Is this true of everyone who lives near the mediterranean sea? Are the Lebanese Hispanic? The Greeks? The French? Moroccans? Algerians? Tunisians? Libyans? Egyptians? Albanians? The Turks? ...You said the victim was Italian, that means the victim was Hispanic. She would need Caucasian blood in her line somewhere to change that, and judging from the picture she very clearly has no Caucasian ancestors. She's Hispanic, not White.
Apparently. Why the **** are we even talking about what the individuals involved here look like?
Or did I miss something...
