I do not think it's reasonable to claim that this person is an example that represents the entire education system.

That would be like claiming Donald Trump is an example that represents all Republicans/conservatives.


Both are examples of an individual.
This woman clearly has issues and should not be in a position of any authority, if they were willing to resort to violence like that.

Even if that reporter had been personally harassing them for weeks, still not OK.

The university firing them is good, but I think they should have been at least strongly reprimanded for the earlier incident I heard about where they trashed a student display table.
