Who will if he does not?

Willard Mitt Romney ? :p

Trump took out 16 seasoned and well financed so called republicans in 2016 and he will do the same in 2024 if he runs again!

And, you don't see a problem with that? ...lol

Yes. Trump will claim the white-supremacist/QAnon faction of the GQP.

Which, if polls are to be believed, is probably the majority of today's Republican party.
I believe the racists are a majority of the GOP. Yes, a super majority in fact.

Recent polls already showing Republicans, by an almost 2:1 margin, would be willing to leave the party for another if Trump formed it. He already has control of the GOP. It's a cult.

Take control? No, the Qnuts, white supremacists, religious nationalists and gender bigots already own the party. They are willingly going to hand it over to Trump.

Trump's upcoming speech will certainly be entertaining to say the least. My expectation is that it will be a revenge fest, but time will tell.
Trump currently does have control of the GOP.

Question is, for how long?

My guess is until the numerous investigations and potential prosecutions come to fruition, rendering him completely unelectable.

Between now and then, McConnell will continue working inside the party to destroy Trumpism.

Pence might run, so might Cancun Ted. Mittens is probably a safe bet, yes. Hawley might sell himself as a younger Trump. Cotton and Sasse will probably both give it a shot. Of governors I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike DeWine give it a try, nor Ron DeSantis. Larry Hogan is another name that might pop up. Nikki Haley will probably give it a shot. There will be a tough primary.

Yes he will. And the D's will cheer!

Sucker-punches only work on someone the first time. 8 years after getting sucker-punched, plenty of time has passed to think about how to bob and weave; a repeat of 2016 is more than unlikely.

Nothing but a very silly ranting post.... Again!! o_O:poop:

Will he? He already has I, and the only Republicans of consequence that have stood up to him are being ostracized by their State and the National GOP.

Benedict Donald caused an insurection, lost the house, the presidency and the senate, was impeached twice, totally ****ed up the national response to COVID; but the GOP sees him as their future.

That's twilight zone shit right there.

If Trump starts a new party, it splits the Republican vote. Democrats will have an easier time winning elections. Abraham Lincoln only won 39% of the popular vote in 1860, but because he was running against 4 other candidates who were all split from one party, he wins.

Trump hasn't been able to mentally masturbate on social media in quite awhile, should be some good rage in his speech.

Or a total flop.

And FOX, NEWSMAX and OANN will be there helping that racist wing of the GOP make as much inroad progress into owning that party as they possibly can with as much disinformation and lies as can be done.

I believe polls. What polls do you cite as official documentation?

Does it matter whether he claims total control or not when half the country demands he take total control?

And he will lose again. I truly hope that he does run.

Trump could stand at the CPAC podium and recite Martha Stewart's recipe for oatmeal cookies and the Trumplican cult members will cheer as though it was the Gettysburg Address.

which is an overblown myth fostered by the progressive party.

Romney Says Trump Would Win 2024 GOP Nomination If He Runs

“He has by far the largest voice and a big impact in my party,” Romney said at a New York Times DealBook virtual event on Tuesday. “I don’t know if he’s planning to run in 2024 or not, but if he does, I’m pretty sure he would win the nomination.”
