Will the House when controlled by the GOP try and shut down the investigation into Trump?

there is an on going investigation by the DOJ into Trump. The question is, will the GOP controlled House next year try and shut down the investigation and thus any indictment of Trump? It seems that their threat to go after everyone in he Biden administration has done little to stop it, so what and will they try something when they are n control?

DOJ is executive branch, so the new House can huff and puff all they like, but I don't think they can blow that house down.

Well, I guess that theoretically the House could defund the DOJ, which would result in...something...I guess. Not sure what else they could do.

They don't even have control of themselves at this point, but they've made threats of impeachments, defunding and counter-investigations. They have no control, but that won't stop them from trying to appear that they do.

They'll try to stop any investigations into trump or the GQP because they always try to cover their shit and corruption.....key word, try.

Trump has been truly investigated for 2 years now. The previous 4 years were tainted with Republican roadblocks.

About all they could do is stall it a bit. Mostly by demanding bogus documentaion like progress reports and such

Trump is no different than many other wealthy, powerful, and popular- yet highly dangerous criminals. These sorts of investigations into powerful mobsters like this often take a long time, with prosecutors getting frustrated many times before finally getting their guy.

Remember this other "Teflon Don"? He would always emerge from court, victorious, with a big contented smirk on his face. His devotees would cheer him every time- he was really "sticking it to the man"- until eventually he didn't.
