It doesn't go rapid pandemic in Africa because the mortality rate is too high, and the period of time from contagious contact to new person contagious status is too short. In Africa, because they are NOT a high mobile society, the plague burns out whole villages, in isolation, BEFORE it can spread.

In America, or any first world country, we have many, many, many people traveling from city to city on an hourly basis. We have a high population density. We have large public schools and colleges. We have a much more mobile society. It will NOT burn out American Cities in Isolation, it will move from city to city to city rapidly, and our advantages of high levels of medical care, to reduce mortality rate, only work when we have a small percentage of the country, less than 2%, that are ill simultaneously.

If it reaches a point in America, where 5K+ people are infected at the same time, our mortality rate will jump hugely, followed by a jump in rate of spread.

If it gets loose in a 1st world country, because of our mobility, it will be like nothing ever seen in World History!

I should have reedited my post, I left out where the PC (Cultural Marxism) indoctrination is taking place. In our universities, colleges and now in our high schools and even grade schools.

We have to start purging the radical leftist from our education system who are doing the indoctrination.

Yeah that's true, but the current generation of students is so steeped in the ideology, I'm not sure they could adapt to the real world anymore. All you have to do is look at the system of values they are in support of, and how far from the realities of making your way through life they really are.

Three things;

1] A life time spent working in technical and scientific fields.

2] In my early days, in the Air Force, I was given special NBC training to act as one of a team of people tasked with setting up remote, isolated, airlift supplied, infection monitoring camps to clear people coming back from a new virus which was killing people at previously unheard of mortality rates.... Ebola.

3] In my last years of working for the Government Labs, in Los Alamos, acting as a programer, I helped develop a Bayesian Inference Markov Chain Monte Carlo code engine which was primarily developed to measure the error in the measurement of neutron flux from underground nuclear tests. But, the type of simulation code was ideal for many other applications. I was put "On Loan" for a few weeks, to another department of the Labs, who did Virus Epidemiology Studies, For among other groups, the CDC. I was asked to help take my neutron oriented version of the code, and aid in adapting for the use of simulating virus epidemics for among other organisms, Ebola.

We also ran the simulation engine against the pathogen profiles of many other viruses, many very common ones, because the actually results of the spread had been carefully measured, and we could use the code results, compared to the real world measured results as a means of checking the accuracy of the code.

None of the other virus had anywhere near the lethal, almost apocalyptic outcomes, as the simulation run against the specifications of the Ebola Virus.
