WikiLeaks said Monday that its founder Julian Assange’s internet link was severed by a “state party” and that “appropriate contingency plans” were activated.

I dunno what the hell's going on - I hope that US/Western govt didn't just surreptitiously decide Assange is Soviet agent and thus legit target for cyber-attack to take down his communication to shut him up exactly during the final critical few weeks of the elections to protect Hillary from further disclosures.

Because, you know - using state power to intervene on the side of a particular candidate during an election is a sure way to make the state look like it favors a particular candidate - thus destroying the credibility of the electoral process.

Maybe this is the punishment Kerry threatened the Russians with.

Yeah, that occurred to me - but punishing the Russians is one thing, while punishing Assange basically amounts to saying he's an arm of the Russians, and thus a legitimate target. Furthermore, if the US govt were to engage in such an action, it has an obligation to disclose that such an operation occurred - especially when that operation is in support of a candidate in the US elections.

After all, did Kerry cut the NYT's internet when they leaked Trump's tax return? If NYT merely leaked-but-didn't-hack, then likewise the same is true for Assange/Wikileaks.

In a time of universal deception, speaking or publishing the truth is a radical act. Assange is speaking and publishing the truth, and TPTB sure as hell don't like it. Apparently, they are desperate enough to boldly cutoff his internet connection.

No surprise here.

I would not put it past this administration to do something like this.
They do not want the truth about all the back door dealings and other
crap Clinton has done while he was in the state house etc ... to become public knowledge.

Good thing the internet is huge and well Assange has more than one source he can use to release the information.
I have to agree they didn't stop the NYT from releasing and publishing an illegal tax return.

That part I bolded there is key....Obama doesn't want anything out there that tarnishes his supposed legacy, and that is so fragile right now with OC crumbling, Iran deal crumbling, and now with these leaks showing that he also downright lied to the American people boldly to their face about sending emails to Hillary on her private server using a pseudonym...This who bunch are criminally corrupt, and have done great damage to this country in many ways....

The Ecuador embassy is probably getting tired of this deadbeat moocher and stopped paying his Internet cable bill.

Assange says he lost access to the internet. What does that mean and what evidence is there of State involvement?

Its gotta be someone working with Clinton, who else but "wipe it with a cloth" Clinton would think that shutting off Assanges' internet access would stop him from leaking things? This doesn't do much but make it a little more difficult for him to access information. I would assume he is not in actual possession of any of the material in person and he just has to give the go ahead on another means as to when to leak more.

You can download the insurance file.
It's encrypted, but if he's arrested or dies, the encryption key is released.
The file is alleged to contain about 250k documents and no one is really sure what's in it.

Wikileaks is an important tool in the war against lies.

ol I agree 100%. of course we knew that Obama was corrupt to begin with. what is worse is that now is the whole thing is exposed for what it is.
unfortunately there is no recourse for the American people. We cannot go and place these people under arrest or even charge them with crimes.

It means that he might not have access to his deadman switch and everything could be dumped at one time in the next 48 hours.

I'm sure Obama ordered this at Hillary's insistence with help from a dark mole (probably a Mooslum) within the embassy and the Mexican Mafia.

Alex Jones probably has a story explaining it all.

The last debate is on Wednesday. It would be impossible for team Clinton to put prepare for issues if they don't know what is going to be leaked before the debate. Coincidence? Probably not.

If we removed the speculation and conspiracy theory from this forum from over the past month alone, I think 7/8 of the threads would be scrubbed.
