I thought you guys were all happy with the reasons we went to war in Iraq?

Whether you take the 'freedom' angle, the 'threat' angle, or the 'UN violations' angle, I thought you had already justified the reasons for invasion.

The recent findings being touted by santorum et al. are a far cry from a real, tangible weapons program.

My only question is, why are you all suddenly struggling to legitimize the insignificant WMD findings now? Deep down are you still insecure about the reasons we invaded Iraq? If not, why the big deal?

The big deal isnt that we need additional justification.

The big deal is that the left was WRONG.

I agree this isnt the smoking gun I want. I believe that is still to come.

But know one thing.....if you are a liberal that has ever used the sentence "there are no WMDs" in a debate......you have just been proven wrong.

I don't care why anymore, but I do find this manipulation quite humorous. For those who admire the gutter work of smash mouth politics, this is a thing of beauty, I don't personally like it, but it is what it is. Doesn't leave one with hope for much change in the near future, but politically----it's a work of art.
