I willingly admit that for the majority of the mob that entered the capitol that day, they had no plan ahead of time and apparently got swept up in the events. Which is not a surprise given that Trump supporters generally have proven themselves to be gullible and lacking in common sense. Most were appropriately charged with just trespass, and/or obstruction.

As for the Shaman, you know he was free to stick with his not guilty plea, accept his court appointed defense attorney and take his chances with a jury. He didn't because he was guilty of what he was charged with and has admitted his guilt openly and often.

I'm not really sure what the argument is - it keeps changing - but are we to believe the FBI was aware of a Captol breach and participated in this breach? The Republican FBI did this under whose nose undetected? Wray? Barr? Somebody has to know something, right? And the motive was to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power because they were pro-Trump? In other words, the FBI was in on it. Is that the argument?

The point is that he did things which caused him to be charged and plead guilty before and after that segment of video.

Edit: So far as I am aware, we do not know if it was already considered, and what he pled to IS the lesser sentence.
