I'm sure there will be those of you who will laugh at this but, rest a sured, the principles set forth here in this video are necessary for the survival of any country.

Umm..

So it was not a load of American slave owning settlers refusing to pay taxes and getting upperty, declaring a separate state with the covert encouragement of the US government, and having a rebellion. Then the volunteer/mercenary army comes along to fight at the Allemo and starts a war with Mexico fighting the vastly bigger and richer USA.

Still with the ability of the film maker to ignore historical facts he can ignore the fact that there is no chance of seceding from the USA.

He can ignore the fact that the economy relies on oil exporting. How are you going to export oil to an unfriendly power?

He can ignore the fact that a treaty between Mexico and USA or Mexico and the republic of Texas is not binding between the USA and Texas.

I'm all for Texas leaving. The U.S. will take their federal equipment, weapons, supplies and then we can build a fence around Texas and let them spend money trying to fend off Mexico and not having any oil exported. Viva la Texas!

What makes you think any of that. The FedGov won't even build the wall they legislated.

Mexico is already one of our biggest trading partners and we can sell our oil/petro products on the world market.

And this isn't so much about Texas leaving as Texas surviving without anyone's help.

You should actually read up on Texas history before you open your mouth again.

You watched that modern abortion of a film on the Alamo didn't you?
