Why Michael Flynn Is Walking Free

They were conducting a counter-intelligence investigation of the Trump campaign, yes.
And they have NO evidence that there was any conspiracy between Trump and Russia to fix the election.
Those are the FACTS.

And so what was the BASIS for doing a counter-intelligence investigation of the Trump campaign? Ties to Russian oligarchs?? So did Mrs. Clinton. So do a lot of people.

But we aren't talking about a gang, we are talking about the federal government. Those supposed to protect citizens not work to overthrow the government and remove a President they don't agree with. The FBI wrongly pursued their prosecution against these people without justification. It's people who think those actions were just that threaten the safety of every American.

TRUMP never said "hey Putin -- keep your hands out of our election!!" Did he? Of course he didn't, he welcomed their help. Don Jr., Paul Manafort, Jared Kusher .... they all wanted Russia's help, they even invited the Russians to Trump Tower, "I LOVE IT!"

In the world of Trump and Barr it's all about winning and they will do anything, legal or not, to win.

How uninformed does any American need to be to understand that 'spying' is not a term that US Intelligence uses when they're doing counterintelligence. Geeze you people.
 
Flynn is walking free because he did nothing wrong. He has trumped up charges and lies made against him because Obama hated him.

The Steele dossier from which this whole thing flows is from Russia. The Clinton campaign never said 'don't give us this stuff.' They actually LOOKED in Russia for anti-Trump info.
The Obama Admin never said 'oh we can't take this anti-Trump info from Russia.' They took it and used it in court.

Well, we know now there was no basis in fact to think that the Trump campaign was conspiring with Russia.
So what was the basis in fact for thinking there was?
 
Flynn is free because the FBI entrapped him. That's illegal and if the rule of law was being followed, then James Comey and the FBI agents who entrapped Flynn would be facing jail time now.

Flynn's son was involved in Flynn's secret foreign agent business. What was illegal about mentioning that he might be subject to prosecution? Prosecutors often make threats to entice a perp into a plea. It is not illegal or even unethical. It also does not make Flynn "innocent". The judge has the last word on Flynn and I'm pretty sure he will not dismiss the case. In 2021 there will be a new AG and he will likely take this up again.

What makes there to have been no crime is that there was no valid investigatory reason to question Mr. Flynn. As such, his statement cannot be said to be misleading a material fact of the case.

Totally bass ackwards. Flynn is free BECAUSE of the rule of law. The FBI violated several of his rights, falsified evidence and actually conducted a plop to "get" him. The friggin' agents who conducted the interview said he was innocent but were overridden.

There's no escape from justice when you committed no crime and the charges were dismissed.

There was no case. The FBI misconduct is documented. They told him he didn't need an attorney present. Higher ups had already ruled there was no violation in the conversation.

It was a pure perjury trap by deep state ideologues.
