The cost of educating doctors is completely separate from the costs of healthcare.

Look at Saint Luke's Health Network in the Lehigh Valley. It has to continuously gobble up small providers, open new clinics, and 24 hour emergency care centers, basically every 10 miles, so it doesn't have enough "profit" on its books to ensure it continues to operate as a "non-profit" entity.

Doctor salaries are one issue; administrative costs are an even bigger issue, as is the artificial inflation of -everything- and the moral superiority the health networks have over evil insurance companies, who are unable to portray themselves to the public as being victimized by strong arming networks that have huge bargaining chips; SIZE.

Even if a degree cost NOTHING at all, Doctors would still have a claim to be paid very well.

However, there is no reason at all that a Doctor should own a $2.4m house in the hills, a $1.5m house in Florida, a yacht, etc, etc, etc.

It's only in our hubris do we sit here and say helping people should enable such massive wealth.

Well, most doctors don't have that and pretty much no doctor can even do much of anything until their student loans are paid off. Yes, I get it, socialists like you believe no one should be rich.

For free government healthcare to work the young and healthy will have to bear the bulk of the cost burden. Old people don't work and many don't have money. Sick people don't work and cannot pay for their massive care needs. Illegals are not allowed to work and they are multiplying by the thousands. The cost burden must fall on the young healthy American taxpayers if universal free healthcare is to succeed.

Hillary is rich, as are thousands of other democrats whose money is tied up in foundations, trusts, overseas accounts, and complicated investments where the money is safe from the IRS. Democrats always say they are going to pay for their tens of trillions of dollars in new spending with the hundreds of millions of dollars they plan to take from the rich if they can. That proves democrats are not good with finances.
