Why is the average firearm owner, an unsafe gun owner?

Look if JMB can do that math right, you can do it to. I believe in you.
I already did. .0014% is not a valid sample size. It’s why you keep having your ass handed to you in this thread.

"Gun owners should safely store firearms" is apparently not a "desired conclusion". Gotcha.

Your conclusion has been that the average gun owner is unsafe. Lying won't help you extricate yourself from the hole you've dug.

Your arbitrary definition of safe storage is meaningless. We know the vast majority of gun owners are safe. It’s why accidental gun deaths and injuries are so rare.

Can't explain it in your own words I see.

I think that's because you're lost.

You've said that the average gun owner is unsafe, because about half of gun owners store their guns in an unsafe manner. According to your uninformed opinion. I guess you don't realize that could also mean that the average gun owner is safe.

Your argument now is...barely the average gun owner is safe with firearms? When the OP study's title is "More than half of US gun owners don't store firearms safely"? Seriously, it's not going to kill you to look at the links.

You are unsafe with firearms!

So if half the gun owners store their guns safely, and half store their guns unsafely (according to the ignorant criteria set forth)....why is it the "unsafe" half that represent "the average gun owner"?

This shit doesn't even make sense on its own terms. It's spouted from a frame of mind that is used to being unquestioned by children and the mentally infirm.

Just read the OP!

You have no idea if I am or not. Maybe you don't understand that nonsense like you bleat doesn't apply at the individual level.

Where do you store your firearms?

Quick! How many legs does the average gun owner have?

Prove it. Go on. I believe in you. You can look for a sample size calculator!

Where do you store your firearms?

Where do you think that's any of your business.

Why do you even ask, when you have already claimed to know? You told on yourself for lying again.

Because gun owners need to be reminded from time to time they don't know how to handle firearms.

The title is an opinion.

Because gun owners need to be reminded from time to time they don't know how to handle firearms.

Now it's categorical again. :ROFLMAO:

Helluva shovel you got. Keep digging.

Another way to look at it.

A valid survey that represents 100,000,000 gun owners requires 16,585 responses (from gun owners). Your survey had 1400. You had 8.4% of the responses you needed. Your survey and any conclusions drawn from it are bullshit.

And that is assuming that the definitions used are even valid.

Go on, cite the study. Read the study. I believe in you.

You just cited it. It's an opinion. Nobody is bound by that definition of "unsafe". It doesn't matter how strongly you believe your criteria is valid, or how strongly the authors of that study believe it. It isn't supported by reality.

99% do, as evidenced by the small number of accidental firearm deaths and injuries.

I suppose you consider shooting themselves in the head is safely using firearms?

I said to refer to the OP. Now i'm asking you to cite the article. Go on. Use those quotation marks!
