So, you are speaking from a position of ignorance. Got it.No, don't believe I have.

Once again. A trust is a legal mechanism for ownership. It could be a house. Or a car. Or jewelry. Or, even, guns.
So that's a "yes"
You ***DO*** have full access to your guns, you claim are not owned by you but held in a "trust".
Once again, you prove that you do not understand simple legal concepts. Sad, just sad.So that's a "yes"

You really do have no concept of how a legal trust works. Maybe you should resist opining on things you know so little about.LOL, pAthetic
So much for this "trust", when you've already admitted that you have full access to your guns.

He revels in his ignorance. It would only take him about 15 seconds to find the information he lacks.
Meh....no one cares." We the people" have the bang sticks...the royal subjects do not.It would only take him about 15 seconds to find the information he lacks.

The UK can even arrest you for hurting people's feelings....why would anyone even listen to an individual that is driven by troll and sealion mantras?
When pigs fly on that one.You really do have no concept of how a legal trust works. Maybe you should resist opining on things you know so little about.

Blah blah blah.
You don’t get it.
You had a friend you obviously knew well. He said a thing you found concerning and thought he was going to harm himself or others.
You did nothing about it .
And guess what . Apparently you were wrong.
Because to the best of your knowledge he did nothiing.
And from that you somehow draw this scenario with nra safety instructors ????
See. Number one. People aren’t going to show up to an nra safety instructor and say such things to a total stranger.
Number two , people aren’t going to show up to an nra safety instructor angry and n
Need to be “ decescalated. “ And if by some chance they did? They would be asked to leave before any gun handling started.
So it seems absurd to me why “ NRA instructors” need to be singled out for special training. When they have no medical training and aren’t in a position where any of your scenarios would occur.
All I see this your premise as is another useless regulation to make it harder for someone to be a certified safety instructor and reduce the number of certified individuals teaching firearm safety.
As far as me? I am a medical professional and yes I can refer them for help. And as a medical professional , I am in a position where someone might confide in me if they are having suicidal thoughts etc. because we aren’t at a gun range where everyone else can hear them and to be heard they have to talk loud while wearing ear protection.
And I am someone that might be able to help .
Yeah you don’t need to lie. You know I responded to your response to me on nra instructors. You went from "I want a study" to blah blah blah awfully fast.
I'm talking about JMB.
Yeah you don’t need to lie. You know I responded to your response to me on nra instructors.
I see you didn’t respond.
So try to stay on target.

1.It wasn’t a case study . It was a systematic review.Using a large N analysis for single case studies.
The study I cited was a lit review that specifically mentioned that due to lack of safety measures caused higher rate of suicide. I also cited an article who quoted a suicide prevention manager who specifically says how she's using means restriction to reduce suicide.
YOU QUOTED ME.You really haven't been following my posts with JMB have you?
1.It wasn’t a case study . It was a systematic review.
2. Yes. A safety measure such as removing a firearm from the house. Removing knives from the person. Watching the person . Preventing them from
Accessing high places.
You aren’t talking about those things .
You are talking about having a suicidal person keeping their firearm and ammunition separate.
I am sorry but that IS NOT what the study you cited researched.
That’s like saying “ well the study showed that 10mg of opioid were sufficient for pain relief so 000008 mg of opioid will be sufficient for pain relief.
No, your study in no was is evidence that merely keeping ammo and firearms separately is sufficient for reduction in self harm.
And neither does your article as it is not a research study.
YOU QUOTED ME.
I could give a rip about your ongoing conversation with Jmb.
We were discussing why you think nra instructors . Which I am one. Should be screening people to determine “ whether they are healthy enough for a firearm”,
It’s clear to me that you cannot justify your premise and are in diversion mode.
Do either deal with my post that YOU QUOTED , or just fess up tgat your nra instructors screening was a stupid idea.

It was a very ignorant OP with zero facts. Just some random definitions.I'll refer you to the OP for that.
Well I did tell you. Multiple timesOhhhhh why you didn't you tell me you were a NRA gun instructor?
What's your policy when it comes to someone coming into your class/instruction showing clear signs of self harm or homicidal behavior? Like what is the policy?
1. Cool.Cool. Now get me a full copy of the article.
Correct. Which is a measurable example of this in action. Mundane, boring care. Which if those things exist and can safely be used... help with means reduction.
I'm going to say with what I cited and what you haven't? I've done enough for now. Get me the article, and I'll get you what you want.
Well I did tell you. Multiple times
Since it’s never happened nor has anyone ever experienced such as an instructor there is no policy.
Why do you think people are going to come for gun safety instruction when they are exhibiting self harm or homicidal behavior?
1. Cool.
Frankly if you could critique it, you would be able to get a copy because you would have access to a research/school database.
I would bet your local library could access it for you.
2. Except it wasn’t measured in your citation.
As my citations show, suicide completers are not impulsive such that a delay of 1 minute or less is going to make a difference .
3. Well of course you are because you have nothing that shows that storing ammo and firearms in different locations reduces self harm
Frankly you are being absurd and you know it .
If you would like another collection of studies on impulsivity and suicide.
“Previous research and popular conceptualizations of suicide have posited that many suicides are the result of impulsive, “on a whim” decisions. However, recent research demonstrates that most suicides are not attempted impulsively, and in fact involve a plan”

no they aren’t. Motor vehicles are. It's estimated 1/2 Americans will have at least once in their life a serious mental health issue. Mental health concerns have only increased in recent years. I genuinely don't know what your point is. I mean heck, guns are the number one (possibly two) killer of children in the US. You can't be serious with that argument.
