Why governments need tougher divorce laws

at least they won't be ignoring kids who turn to crime

Of course they will! You don't think that just because they don't get married, they won't have kids, do you? They're just going to have kids out of wedlock who will grow up with only one parent.

it would be less of them. Some might have kids anyway but less of them would if they didn't get married.

That's why 40% of all births are out of wedlock, right? Or 70% in the black community. Because these people are being responsible.

statistics still prove that children in stable families are less likely to turn to crime. We could give married couples deductions.

And that has nothing to do with REALITY! What planet do you live on?

Ahem. Plenty of children born out of wedlock grow up with two parents.

It is the relationship itself that causes a stable and healthy environment for children to grow up in. A marriage is just a contract between the parents that binds them together.

It should be harder to get married and easier to get divorced.

the biggest problem to society is that breeding is too easy. One of the few areas where I support more government action is more sex education in the schools, easier access to contraceptives and abortion and far more stigma attached to "baby mothers" and baby daddies who irresponsibly spawn children without a rational thought as to why
