How and why did Latin American dictatorships end?

This is just a hunch but here's my take unless someone can point this out.

Most Latin American dictators were military which adopted free-market reforms. People admitted the economy boomed under the free-market ones, including Alfredo Streossner of Paraguay, despite there brutal human rights abuses.

It seems most African countries are under poverty and dictatorships now because of the socialist polices. Even the Apartheid countries had richer land and quality despite them being racist. And ofcourse Robert Mugabi, dictator of Zimbabwe(former Rhodesia Aparthied country) ruined the economy and made it into a crap hole.

And alot of East Asia under Communism which is more poverty.

Rightwinger dictator Franco of Spain return Spain to a democracy after his death and Military dictatorships didn't last.

It seems that leftwing dictatorships last longer than any other(let me guess, because people are leftwing today and they like it)

It's the Communist and Socialist countries that keep craving more and more and spread like a virus.

North Korea, China, Cuba, Belarus, Burma seem to rule a very long time.

And are there any rightwing dictatorships that still exist today?

Excluding Muslim countries that adopt command economies like Saudi Arabia, Iran Syria, and Libya

they probably ended when America stopped creating them.

perhaps we lost interest in Latin America.

Leninist dictatorships owe at least part of the credit for their existence to their misappropriation of the "socialist" label, which falsely implies some commitment to economic democracy on their part where none exists.

Yes, you might say that a side benefit to the war in Iraq was that the Bush administration was too distracted with M.E. conflagrations to seriously apply it's dark arts to overthrowing newly elected left leaning Latin American presidents.
