Jesus didn't have to die, the Psalmist says, "Do good and live forever in the Earth."

Why did Jesus have to die?
Jesus didn't have to die for any worldly reason, He had unlimited Angels to defend him, he could charm the Sanhedrin, make himself King.

Personally, I like to think of it as a challenge, such a powerful mystic, wants to leave a record to the World that will bring him fame and glory. Since rock star isn't available then, human sacrifice is.

Why did Jesus have to die?
Jesus had to die, because he killed others in war, and only such a sacrifice would be acceptable for his return to the Father.

Moreover, he knew that is what he was coming to do, so he went ahead and blew them up.

He instructed the Indian priests of His coming and need of a people, sacrificial system and Mosaic law. The lamb on the alter represents Christ. When John saw Christ int he street he called out, "Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world." And two of his disciples followed Him home to become part of the twelve.

Why did Jesus have to die?
Just think, the Nagas, when they see His Resurrected form, and think nothing of it? Without the Crucifixion? How will He stand against them? When they say you blew me up? What will He say, "Well, you were up in the celestial headwaters?" Doesn't make a good case in the court of Satan, he wins, Celestial headwater no longer yours.

Christ is the Passover lamb, the blood on the doorposts represents the cross, but by the time Jesus came, they thought the Messiah was going to restore Israel and be King. Obviously, people like John knew what as going on. The Old Testament has numerous prophesies of a sacrificial Christ, "By his stripes we are healed." "He was wounded for our iniquities." So anyone studying the Scriptures would know of it.

The Antichrist, and the False Prophet lost at the 6:00am, to be thrown into a Lake of Fire, the Beast came to rule instead, they ate gold, became addicted to their seeing, and had to have their optic nerves cut, the Beast could look out from his Throne and see through the eyes of any of His subjects. They ended a nuclear snowball, their turn in the Lake of Fire.

So, the Lord was just and gracious to let the losers come to rule a planet, with about WWII technology without nuclear.

But it was only a ticking time bomb until something ticked of He and sparked his hatred.

"Share with me." He said, but it would not be easy, so it wasn't, war was instead.

And the Walrus and the Carpenter were also there?

All mortals have to die. The significance of Christ dying is so that through the Son of God, mankind may know resurrection.
It wasnt the result...it was the means. Had the people not been wicked, Christ could have lived, died of old age, and still have accomplished the same goal.

As to why God allowed it to happen...that is a consequence of choice and free agency.

Mary had him killed because Joseph had arranged for her, Jesus, and the three wise men to appear on Maury to find out who the real father was.

The wise men were bringing gifts because they were all possibly the daddy. Joseph eventually started getting suspicious about Mary's story about god raping her. To avoid getting caught, Mary had Jesus killed.
