Hundreds of New York Police Officers turn their backs on Mayor De Blasio: https://bluelivesmatter.blue/back-mayor-de-blasio-officer-miosotis-familias-funeral/
Could the reason be that the NYPD does not think that Mayor De Blasio has their backs?
The NYPD has an agenda, just like DiBlasio does, just like anyone else does.
The NYPD (as a pretty strong political body with a very powerful union) acts as if it is beyond reproach. It is often at odds with the mayor's office. If the mayor doesn't march in lockstep with the NYPD, that mayor is often publicly disrespected by the NYPD.
It's pretty cheese of them to politicize the funeral of a fallen officer, but I can't say it's surprising.
Typical Democrap response, circling the wagons to defend a scumbag like Wilhelm "de" Blowhard.

I see that at no point did you actually address or attempt to refute anything I said. 0/10. See me after class.
Cops hide behind their blue wall and attack anyone who tries to hold them accountable to the law and for their actions. You can make a mortal enemy out of the police union simply by stating that they should wear body cameras or be responsible for the unjustified killings of innocent people. That they'd politicize a funeral of one of their own is rather pathetic but also not at all surprising.
Wilhelm "de" Blowhard was in Europe during the funeral.
Do try to keep up.

Hope most of you never need a cop.
De Blasio went to a protest in Germany instead of attending the vigil for Officer Miosotis, who was murdered sitting in her patrol car. It has nothing to do with what any of you said. (except Ballantine)
He deserves to be shunned.
Whether de Blasio should have done whatever is irrelevant. A funeral is an inappropriate place for political protest.

To exploit a funeral for politics?

What you said was not worthy of debate. I thought I made that quite clear.
Maybe you're in the wrong class. Perhaps you could benefit from some continuing education in remedial English?
i do appreciate where you are coming from
but as i recall, Obama was a featured funeral speaker after the charleston (Mother Emmanuel) church killings
and that appeared to be a political protest against such murders
which then tells us political protest at funerals is acceptable, if the issues being protested are found acceptable
Seems it was only a short time ago De Blasio wouldn't step up to the plate when the cops caught all the flack for enforcing De Blasio's stupid "loosies" policy. Garner ended up dead because De Blasio was pissed off about losing a few dollars in tax revenues.
Then add in a choke hold.........
Obviously a completely analogous sitch
No he does not.Hope most of you never need a cop.

No he does not.
New York cops have been racked with corruption for years.
They have no business crying about other folks.
Screw them.
