Why Defund PBS?

Well, that's certainly very interesting viewing. I think I'd like to watch both of those.

Yes. We definitely want PBS. It is in the interest of the people to have non-profit news and reporting.

When money taints reporting, it's well, tainted.

PBS is an important source of science programming and long form investigative journalism, both sorely lacking in MSM.

PBS is ALSO the source of constant left wing nagging about the burning LGBTQIAPOC issues of transgender rights, Black century old grievances, and the plight of Palestinian terrorist supporters, among other things that are of interest to about 10% of the public. For the rest of us, it's like being force fed Brussels sprouts.

If PBS were fixated on MAGA's favorite issues, it would have probably more people interested, but I doubt that liberals would think it deserved public funding.
 
Because if the public is going to fund a news media outlet they have every reason to expect it to be run as a professional news organization and not as a professional public relations arm of the DNC.

You make a point if it was right wing propaganda right wing people would probably like it but left wing and interest people would object and their objection would be just as legitimate as mine.

The percentage you posted was about science science has no political agenda. If it does it's not science it's lying.

Killing funding for PBS and NPR will affect rural markets more because those are the markets that rely on the funding the most.

That is just a fact.
