why are you voting for Trump?

I'm not going to vote for him, but I have seen his speeches. He's really good at delivering a specific message and staying on point. It's basically, Washington is broken; here's why and I can fix it.

Problem is that most of the stuff he claims cannot be actually done and he knows it, or at least I hope he is at least smart enough to know it, unless he believes he is running for Emperor and not President. I am hopeful that we do not come down to what so many have said, a choice of voting for someone that is not the other guy, a sad commentary on our process. Of-course it is all for show anyway, it is the States, not the people, that will make the final choice on who is put into the oval office.

Very few states will be up for grabs this year. IMO, if the R do not nominate a Rubio or Kasich they are toast because I do not see Fla or Ohio voting for Trump or Cruz. Ohio's economy is too good right now. And, Florida has too many old people voting who are afraid of the Far Right.

Probably true, sadly.

If he runs against Hillary, him not being Hillary is enough of a reason for me.

So you do not care what they stand for..as long as they are not Clinton?

They could be HORRIFIC for the country and you don't care just so long as they are not Clinton?

Please never vote again.

I prefer the way it is. We are a federation of independent states that came together to form the 'United States'. Each state determines who it sends to the electoral college. It is within the power of California, Texas, Montana, etc. To change (or not) the way in which they want the state represented. This can be done through democratic means.

Nothing is going to change, that is unless the masses figure out that it is all just a show for everyone's entertainment. Personally, I want my vote to actually count but that is your choice if you want others making your choice for you, to each their own.

I don't know. I'm glad the economy in Ohio is doing well :)

Is it? Is anyone's economy actually doing "well". Besides what has the economy have to do with politicians, they only play a small part in that arena.

It's all relative. The US is doing much better than our competitors in the global economic arena. Remember when everyone was saying we should be more like China or Brazil? Well, look at those two countries today.

Presidents are tethered to economic performance.

Depends on motivation. Romney got 60% of the white vote...not enough to counter Obsma with 96% of the Black and 80% of Hispanic vote. Head to head, Trump is about 61% vs Hillary's 39% of white vote. That will be enough for the GOP 'if' Blacks and Hispanics vote in fewer numbers than 2012. It will be interesting to see how vigorously ?Obama campaigns for Hillary. Blacks and Hispanics like Bill Clinton and, again, will that motivate a vote for the Mrs?

Or the media is making up the polls and leading the public like the sheep we are. :)

I am not voting for Trump...or Clinton. I will exercise my right to pass if those are the choices I am given by the Bipartisan Empire.

Not really. Your vote counts as a citizen of your state. You can change the allocation of electoral votes in your state. However, YOUR vote is the only one so majority rules.

On a the one hand you want one person one vote but dismiss the concept in your own state for change. Why do you want majority rule if you think the majority stupid? We don't have dictators who can set aside the Constitution.

You can vote for "none of the above". I've done it lots of times. You just pick the best candidate, regardless of whether he/she has a snowball's chance of getting elected. I think of it as a protest vote.

I am going to vote for the guy that pisses the most people off. I don't know if that is Trump or not. When faced with Clinton as one of the candidates I don't know how much more of a joke this election can be.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is the Devil Incarnate.

He will lose a lot of women votes. You're dreaming if you think he holds 60% of the white vote. He may get well over 60% of the white male vote though.

You should know better than that. Ballots differ by state, I've never seen one with a "none of the above" option. You don't want to vote a particular race, just leave it blank or do a write in.

I enjoy voting. Last time got coffee and a donut.

I understand people who don't vote or do some type of a protest vote. However, neither makes much difference. At the end of day all politicians are not the same to me. Certainly not Trump and Clinton. I see a mega difference between the two of them. My life may be impacted differently by which one of them is President.

Huh? Romney and Bush both got that, Any pollster will tell you that is a wrap for the he Republican Party. The Repub needs about 63% of white vote to win...or low non white turn out. White males vote above the that for the GOP...women below 60%. Trump is no different in that historic figure when polled head to head against Clinton.

That's true, but how do you feel about the choice coming down to one or the other of those two?
Anyway, in the general election, those of us who don't live in "swing" states have no voice at all.

Trump will end up with far fewer women votes than Romney or Bush. But, hey, that's why they have the elections. We'll see. Won't we?

Hillary Rodham Clinton is the Devil Incarnate.

I agree, but she is the only candidate with a chance of winning who believes in States rights enough to allow medical marijuana. In addition she will remove it from schedule 1 to allow real research. As someone who firmly believes in the drugs holistic properties, it is the one issue which gets me out to vote. Why ? Because politicians have no right to tell me what I can use as medication, 2 combat tours in Iraqi and PTSD. And no Sanders is not a winnable candidate, the GOP is against states rights on the issue so it leaves me with Clinton.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is the Devil Incarnate.

Is there a Republican who believes enough in States rights to allow medical and recreational marijuana? One who actually has a chance of winning? Its not Paul that's for sure.

Sure You have a voice. It's just that those with a voice largely think alike. It's called democracy. Same in my state. Most Will vote vote Democrat..choice of the people, not mine this time around. I still want coffee and a donut.

I will vote for Trump. I was divided for a while but like Trump for the entertainment value. I went 'click' with the channel selector the last couple of times Hillary was on tv...boring.

Trump flip flopped on States rights on medical marijuana

I will pass on him

Donald Trump softened his tone on marijuana legalization on Thursday, saying at a political rally that states should be allowed to legalize marijuana if they chose to do so. Trump reaffirmed that he supports making medical marijuana available to patients who are very sick.

"In terms of marijuana and legalization, I think that should be a state issue, state-by-state," Trump said while taking a handful of questions during a political rally at a casino outside Reno on Thursday afternoon.

Don't try and change the subject.
