Why are we hearing so much about the assassination of Charlie Kirk, but not Melissa Hortman?

You libs start 90% of the threads here. If want more threads on a particular topic, start more.
So no MAGA respond to them?
Like the US kids being killed by Israel.
Not one MAGA jumped in that thread to condemn Israel.
Shit, Trump made no mention of this either.

I didnt see that thread. Link to it and Ill comment so you quit whining.

You don’t know?
Every crime committed is by a leftist.
From shoplifting to speeding to murder and pedophilia.
MAGA has told us.

Meanwhile, they give us a 34 convicted felon, rapist, grifter, and traitor to run our country.

What does that indicate about the potential for violence by the right?
It shows that most of the right does not celebrate murder, and most of the left does.

Had most of the right celebrated the murder of Melissa Hortman the same way that most of the left celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk, it would have been a much bigger news event.

There has been no national event to honor Melissa Hortman.
Maybe someone should have organized an event? Why do you think, out of millions of people, no one did so?

Same reason so many people run around chasing after cat eating Haitians, cancer-causing wind turbines, and autism-causing vaccines, instead of listening to doctors or scientists: the power of right wing propaganda.

Well then maybe the left should practice breaking into the Capitol and calling to hang the vice president of the United States for doing his job some more.

Why isn't president Trump speaking more about the assassination of this elected official? Why isn't he going there and giving their family a big hug? How much coverage has Fox News given it? Why isn't this even more evidence that the right's predisposition to violence is now off the charts and needs to be reined in? After all, there is far more evidence for that than any leftist tendency to violence- according to Trump's own FBI.

President Trump condemns 'horrific' shootings of two Minnesota lawmakers

President Trump said the shootings of two Minnesota state lawmakers "will not be tolerated" and that the FBI is investigating the attack.

WASHINGTON ― President Donald Trump said the targeted shootings of two Minnesota state lawmakers "will not be tolerated in the United States of America" and vowed the shooter who carried out the brazen attacks will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Trump said he's been briefed on Saturday's shootings of state Rep. Melissa Hortman, the speaker emerita of the Minnesota House of Representatives, who along with her husband was shot and killed, and Minnesota state Sen. John Hoffman.

In a June 14 post on his social media app Truth Social, Trump said Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are investigating the situation "and they will be prosecuting anyone involved to the fullest extent of the law."

"Such horrific violence will not be tolerated in the United States of America. God Bless the great people of Minnesota, a truly great place!" Trump said.

And people on the left have says similar things about the shooting of Charlie Kirk.

Same reason so many people run around chasing after cat eating Haitians, cancer-causing wind turbines, and autism-causing vaccines, instead of listening to doctors or scientists: the power of right wing propaganda.
So.. no one actually cared about these events, and Americans ignored them and decided they were mostly fake news and not worthy of support?

I can see you point, even if I disagree. You are probably right; no one actually fears the things you listed.

But they fear being targeted for free speech.

Not sure what you mean. Birtherism is what launched Trump's entire political career. We have an actual anti-vaxxer running the HHS FFS.

Weird argument. People care about being shot for just stating their opinion. That's what scares people, far more than car crashes or plane crashes or windmill cancer or whatever; the fact that someone might think it's ok to shoot a person for talking, and others would not condemn it and beat the ever living **** out of a person who would do so, but might actually support them or excuse their actions, is what causes fear in people.

You know, it’s like Trump said: you never can know what those second amendment people will do if things don’t go their way, can you?

He really was right about everything.

The assassination of Charlie Kirk has drawn huge rallies from the right in support of his family. It has been called a pivotal point in the conflict between the left and the right. People are calling for civil war. President Trump has said this is evidence that the left has gotten more violent than ever and can no longer be negotiated with.

But what about the assassination of Melissa Hortman and her husband, in their own home? Who did it? What do we know about him? Wrediculoushat does that indicate about the potential for violence by the right?
Donald trump is rediculous and he should puts on the 25th Amendment.

The 25th amendment isn't the solution, and sets a president for political coups against democracy. Impeachment is. And Republicans are to blame for not removing him.

It seems they will vote.

And anti second amendment people will murder people if they don't get their way.
