Kavanaugh and Barrett appear to be the leaders now
 
Of the people on the list I would pick Amul Thapar.

I think it will be Amy Comey Barret.
Trump just appointed her to the Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
.

She was confirmed by every Republican vote and I believe 3 Democratic votes.

She is truly a female constitutionalist conservative. Personally I think adding her to the Supreme Court would be an awesome choice considering at this time the SC has three progressive women serving.

One I visited had Kavanaugh. An anti abortion woman would create some interesting problems for the left though
 
I dont know but I did note a report that he is down to 5, and that he will interview all five soon. Makes me wonder when he got told that Kennedy was leaving.
 
An adulterer? God, I hope so. Bill Clinton's little affair with Monica Lewinsky made BJ's mainstream. Not just something a pervert would want.....

Now, our president nominating a philanderer...... and the Senate confirming him...or her... the possibilities are awesome. Weekends at the Bunny Ranch...... finally doin' that good lookin' neighbor.... and no guilt whatsoever. It's normal. See, they even approve of it.. That'll be my story and I'll stick to it..!!!!! Ya gotta love this country. That's what I call Making America Great Again !!!

I was thinking more along the lines of one of the Koch brothers...... or Rush Limbaugh.....

I actually think Trump should nominate one of these. My wife worked for a large public utility (actually the union) but when the utility wanted a rate increase of 5% they would start by asking for 8%, and then "compromise" at 5%. Trump should nominate somebody alt right, which would scare the poop out of the liberals, and then "compromise" on the solid conservative he wanted all along.
 
Some right wing whack job for sure. Anything to appease the establishment GOP, and the GOP voters who currently approve of him at a 90% level.

However, I will say that if Trump is truly the "troll" that I think he is...he would put his so called "liberal sister" on the SC. He DID contemplate doing that in the past...
