This poll is not about who you would prefer, but rather who you believe will be the Democratic Presidential nominee.
Assuming she can survive her election this calendar year, Elizabeth Warren could be a prime contender. As a whole, however, the democratic party seems to be lacking in "fresh blood" type candidates with national aspirations. Could be wrong, but that's just my perspective.
2016 is so far away, I cannot even begin to think of who would run. I can say this, the Democrats will need some new people to put up against strong GOP contenders.
2 months ago I said the 2012 election was in the bag and that by 2014, Biden would be out due to some 'unforseen' health problem or family tragedy and Hillary called on to serve the country as the VP. That would pretty much seal both 2016 and 2020.
Since the last 2 months, I have actually kinda been less convinced that 2012 is such a shoe in. I still think Obama wins it by hook or by crook (I suspect a total amnesty w/ voting rights come August October time frame if he is lagging in the polls), but while Romney isnt doing anything to win it, Obama isnt doing himself any favors.
At least might get them interested in voting this time around since they have absolutely zero motivation based on his job performance so far. He's also expected to ease up on marijuana users to get the youth vote. If anything, that'll put him over the top.
The sad thing is even I think they'd be a better choice than Obama... And I almost always vote for the republican candidates...Hillary, with Bill as her running mate. I'm just saying, that would be definite win after 16 years of terribad economy.
