If A&E were the first humans, that means their sons had to reproduce with with their own mother, as she was the only female? Right out of the gate our species was genetically bottlenecked. But then, the Bible does feature incestuous giggity.

I need to read 'the Good Book' again, it would seem. I always get these Godda-, er, freaking characters and stories mixed up.

Yeah, the Bible has no answer for this one. But they might have married their sisters, as you said, or God actually just made more people. Who knows.

Or you know, it's just a story that is not supposed to be taken too literally.

Actually now when I think about it weren't both Cain and Abel childless? And their younger siblings were the ancestors of humanity. Not that it changes the problem at all.
