Sure...Joy Reid, but her TV show is now gone. She was awful. I remember when her show replaced Matthews and I honestly thought she might do good but she just kept digging herself deeper and deeper into the racial baiting that even when a topic was not race related she turned it into something racial. Is she still relevant or have a presence on social media? There's a co-host (don't know her name) on the same show as Michael Steele, she often goes on tangents that add nothing to their programing.

No Droid Reed wasn't relevant even when she had a show the ratings were terrible. No she does have a social media presence but you know so does Don lemon and really kind of sad.

I've never seen Joy Reid so I don't know. Do you think only people you've seen on TV are on social media? Social media is full of normal people voicing their opinions. Surely you've seen the countless videos of people celebrating this assassination, saying he deserved it, etc.

I've not seen countless videos but then I'm not out there looking for them either. I don't need to look far to know we have a nation full of division and hatred towards those with opposing views/lifestyles. It comes from both sides and the cherry picking worsens it when we elevate certain victims but dismiss or ignore others. Kirk was not liked or respected or revered by a lot of people primarily because he had some very unpopular opinions about those on the left or those he opposed which was viewed as hateful rhetoric. However, he did not deserve to be gunned down regardless of the position he took on specific issues in politics and cultures.

Millions of them on social media like TikTok, X and internet forums like this one.

Thousands of posts, videos made daily about politics. Some that get millions of views. Many of them full of hate toward people on the opposing side of the aisle.

How is the MSM perpetrating hate?

They do report on the news, which is there is an uptick in political violence. They do report on Trump, who has not acted within the norms of an American president AND has shown autocratic tendencies. He does. Its their job to report things in the context of American history. It is their job to muck rake. Trump is no different in the scrutiny than any other POTUS, he just is not behaving as any other POTUS.

Reporting on the "uniqueness of Trump" is not hateful when defensible, and it is more than defensible. I think you are confusing their poignant critique with hate. Perhaps you should spend a little time thinking about what they are saying rather then hiding from it?

All that said, we should all tone down the rhetoric... Democrats are not the enemy; Republicans are not the enemy. Distrust and violence are enemies. We do have some real challenges ahead of us as the current system of government is not working. Some want to tear it down; I personally think the core form of American democracy has been the greatest form of government ever, but its not working. I want to fix it.

With words like Nazi, existential threat, fascist, dictator, racist, our MSM has led our Country in a very negative way.
Americans who are unwilling to engage in a political debate surrounded by respect are part of the problem.
Cheering on the political assassination of a man who offered opinions, and wanted all to be heard. Even those he disagreed with.
