Dear me. This seems to be a direct result of Russian disinformation that trump/vance have swallowed whole.
Ukraine may not be sweet people but they are clearly the victims here.
What they are being offered is a jack not a deal.

Vance seemed to be in the room to provoke as the two double teamed on Zelensky.

I think the aim is to clear the way for the trump surrender to putin. The choice for europe is clear. Stop Putin in Ukraine or stop him in the Baltics/Poland.

I think it would be easier here unless trump supplies arms to Moscow.

The american electorate put these half wits in place. They have a lot to answer for.
 
That was the most disgusting display by Vance and Trump I have ever witnessed. Now Trump has tweeted out saying Zelensky disrespected the Oval Office!!!!! So much for Trump's deal making!!!!
 
It was clear to me that Zelensky wanted a guarantee from the US that should Putin break the peace deal, the US would come to their rescue. No guarantees.

I felt certain that there would have been a peace deal made by the end of the afternoon.
That doesn't look like this is on track though. However, the press is reporting President Trump asked President Zelensky to leave the WH because he said Zelensky is not ready for peace. Trump's goal is peace.

Turns out the existence of rare earth minerals and the ability to extract them is a big question. The same offer was made to Biden and after doing the proper due diligence the deal was refused. Of course Trump doesn't do due diligence so......

Perhaps Trump doesn't understand what "raw" earth and "rare" earth minerals are? I have always thought that JD was Trump's protection from being removed from office.

Trump wants peace and the minerals are payback to our country because stupid, inept Biden gave them our money, our weapons without conditions attached. It's a good deal for Ukraine.

There was no meeting of grownups.
Zelensky was the only grownup and he was meeting with two punks.

When Trump waves his hands back and forth he's showing deep frustration - the gesture is a 'wipe out' where he is wiping away the uncomfortable shit Zelenski is saying

This was all STAGED for the cameras to show how tough Donny & Timmy can be in a two on one in the White House.

Cowards are always cowards.

Did anyone else notice that both Trump and Vance have tiny hands??????

This was not an unreasonable request in exchange for signing away a significant percentage of Ukraine's wealth for all perpetuity. That Donald wasn't interested spoke volumes. He might as well have lumped Ukraine into the same group as Canada and Greenland - things he just "wants" in exchange for nothing.

I have not been expecting any serious deal because Donald Trump is a sociopathic narcissist who has never shown the ability to feel empathy. As such, the concepts of another people "fighting for survival" and having "pride in one's nation" are completely foreign to him. I knew he would botch it, but admittedly didn't predict that JD Vance would be the instrument of his mismanagement.
