I would say Tucker Carlson is the worst person in popular news media. Not only is he misinformative, but he is knowingly so, yet gives the veneer that he is just a concerned citizen doing his best. He's not stupid he's smart.If you read his writing from when he was younger he knows all the things he claims to be confused about now.

But who is yours?

When it comes to regular far right wing propaganda, my guess is that the Hannity Interuptathon Extravaganza is the worst, but I haven't watched faux in regularly in more than a decade.

Tucker Swanson Carlson is an American conservative political commentator (commentator....not a newsman)

Talk radio is ENTERTAINMENT.....so Rush, Levin. Hannity, and all the rest

And just as MSNBC, and ABC, and CNN have their talking heads on their news channels, i am sure Fox has theirs

The problem is most of the news now is 80% commentary and 20% news.....must have opinion people telling us what things actually mean (as if people dont have a brain)

Well and fine for some....others dont know when to turn off the channel

I wish we had news like it was back in the 70's....

27 minutes of just facts....and then a 2-3 minute opinion piece on the important issue of the day and always at the end of the show....Cronkite is rolling in his grave

ACTUALLY, if you really want to know what the problem is, it's the 80% of news watchers who AUTOMATICALLY assume there are no decent news sources out there.
AND why would they assume that? Well, for starters, they have been TOLD that there aren't any. Usually by their favorite biased news outlets.
Those of us not spoon fed on biased news, know where to find sources that delve deep into news stories and avoid clickbait headlines. They are out there for all to find.
Hint: Many are American, but just as many are foreign. So, if YOU want to avoid the 80% of commentary and actually find news, with a bit of searching and sagacity, you will find actual news sites.

I don't watch CNN, but Rachel Maddow has to be the worst - totally DEI, and I believe MSNBC has Keith Olbermann who was recently seen performing a meltdown on X (NSFW):

Most of those people aren't in "popular" news media, unless you count 50-100K viewers as such. And that's for the entire country.

50K is like a mid-sized city morning commute radio show popular.
 
Seems Tucker has the most votes, but I find one other even more loathsome. The dark rings around his eyes, the hangdog look, the endless ranting, there is none worse than.........................
