Who is REALLY at fault?

I have seen a lot of name calling and finger pointing on the interwebs since the election results.

A lot of people asking how Trump could not only win the E.C., but the popular vote, too.

How could republicans win a majority, not only in the senate, but the house too?

The question I want to ask is why did the young black vote double for Trump this election?

Why was the Latino vote closer to 50/50 than the normal 60/40?

What happened to the 13 million more democrat voters that voted for Biden, but didn't show up for Harris?

Could it be that they didn't want to vote for a candidate that wasn't even elected to run?

It seems to me, that if democrats want to know how Trump got elected, the party should only look in the mirror.

It's more than "the party". Biden really screwed Dems over by not adhering to his promoting himself as being a "transition" President.

Some died. Some switched to Trump. My guess is most are too detached that they forgot the horrors of Trump 1.0.

No. All the polls were clear that Harris had a lot more support than Biden.

Sure. Maybe. However, that does not absolve those that stayed home or those that voted for Trump from helping the worst president who is hell bent on ending democracy in this country to run it again. Whatever is coming is well deserved by them.

Part of what occurred was the Overton Window shifted. MAGA became mainstream acceptable.

Trump was able to fool many voters into voting against their own interests. The Arabs in Detroit are one example. They campaigned against Harris and Biden because they could not get a cease fire and now they a shocked that Bibbi is going to Annex the West Bank and Gaza with Trump's blessing. Never underestimate the stupidity of the average voter.

It's obvious!
Black Males & Latinos can see insanity of the DEM's ! And they can see the Patronizing policies the left create to "Support" these group!
When the DEMs want to FORCE Americans TO LIE and say a man is a woman, and legally prosecute people who will not LIE, ALL People with functioning Brains see this as insane Liberal Tyranny!

As for the 13M more voters, that was the Fake Ballots the DEM's created & Re-scanned!

I've thought about this. And this election came down to effective messaging.

Trump had great messaging.
1. You have high prices and it's kamelas fault.
2. We are spending money on wars and its kamelas fault.
3. Kamela is trying to make your kids gay or Trans
4. Kamela wants to have open borders and give undeserving people your money..your pets and ruin your neighborhoods.

And he had almost 4 years of hammering this message.

And democrats let him. They ignored this messages. Pooped them..assumed the american people would see how fake they are.
But we've learned...falsehoods..repeated often enough..propagated on social media..has staying power.

Studies show a significant portion of the population thinks obamacare has death panels. ..

Harris tried to counter almost 4 years of message in a few months.

Never going to happen.

Democrats should have rightly blamed Trump for the high prices.
Starting the minute inflation started.

"Yeah prices are spiking because we are recovering from the hole Trump put us in with his incompetence with covid.
We had to keep the economy alive after he drove it onto life support. "

Look how much we drove it down and tge economy made a soft landing".

Democrats should have pointed out over and over Ukraine was because of Trump being subservient to putin. Unable to stand up to him...
Weakening nato.
Etc.

Democrats simply have to be better at clear ..straight forward messaging..
And frankly..they have to do it toward independents. You can't message far left for 3.5 years..then try to veer to the middle.
In the last 6 months.

I don't know if a lot of voters understand MAGA policy implications... or maybe they ARE ok with it?!

If a "steaming dog turd" trounced your candidate, what does that make them?

And your candidate was "trounced" by a tired old man that hid in the basement. LMAO.

Derp.

The DEMOCRATS are all to blame.

It seemed like a good chunk of her campaign was that she just wasn't Trump. That isn't enough to vote for someone. She said she'd have Republicans in her Cabinet, got endorsed by a ton of Republicans, and campaigned with Republicans. She was effectively running a Republican-lite campaign in that she wasn't creating distance between her and the Republican Party. It also didn't If she's doing all that, at what point does someone say "Why don't I just vote Republican?" There was also the issue of her being so enmeshed with the Biden administration that she wasn't really able to chart her on path. A vote for her in many ways was a vote for another Biden term.

There weren't "13 million more democrat voters" who voted for Biden, but who didn't vote for Harris. Out of the seven battleground states, turnout was higher in six of these states from 2020. And Harris received more votes than Biden in the states of Wisconsin, Nevada and Georgia.
