As a Conservative I am curious who the Democrats involved in this forum think are the current leaders of their party. Who is running the store now? Who will lead your party into the upcoming mid terms? Who is setting the political narrative for your party?

If you don’t want to participate I will understand.

There is clearly a generational change in process in the Democrat party.

You are just being silly. There is no such thing as the Democrat Party. That means you are trolling. Come back when you are serious. Otherwise, you are just posting douchebag nonsense.

Last time I looked there are two major political parties in the USA. One is the Republican Party and the other is the Democrat party. Seriously. 😐

Why would mamdani be a leader as a candidate for mayor of a city?
He’s taking up a lot of oxygen and quite a few big names in the Democrat party are impressed by his candidacy and by the man himself. If he wins in November his footprint will be even larger. He’s being endorsed over long time Democrats like Mario Cuomo. It appears that the Democrats are moving even more to the left. He’s a socialist. And not just any city. It’s NYC

I'd vote None of the Above and ask the question "When Trump has a deep vein thrombosis attack who will become the real leaders of the new Republican party?"

  • MTG
  • Mike Johnson
  • JD Vance
  • Josh Hawley
  • Markwayne Mullin
  • Donald Trump Jr.

There, now my list sounds even less realistic than yours. A political con man like Trump comes along once in a lifetime, so I don't see anyone with his ability to bring people in line by fleecing them on either side of the aisle. It may actually take a solid politician who has the interests of the country to become the leader this time around.

There isn't a leader because the party is out of power. It is likely that someone like Jared Polis, Mark Cuban, or someone at the state level no one has ever heard of, that will be the party's next leader.

Not to be contrarian, but...

Jared Polis is likely too moderate. Colorado Democrats tend not to fare well in national primaries. I'm guessing if Mark Cuban ran, he'd do so as an independent. He has the money - and neither party is very popular right now.

Wrong people. Who are the big donors that pick people on that list? Those are the leaders.

SURE you are

You asked for "leaders" (plural), but the poll is set up as such where we can only vote for one option.
Click bait, easily recognizable

Yet, he doubled down........

One is the Republican Party and the other is the Democrat party.
WOW, such ignorance.

Q: Is it the “Democratic” Party or the “Democrat” Party?

A:
The proper term is “Democratic Party.”

Sounds good. (y)

I don't think there is a clear leader right now, and they really don't need one. At this point, everyone seems to be cautiously waiting to see if Mamdani wins. NYC is still the most important city in the country, and it carries weight on the world stage. If a socdem can become mayor of a city like new york, the far left is going to be supercharged with optimism. That'll make them more assertive, and the old guard may have to step aside.
