On Wednesday, the Caughman murder case came to a conclusion with Jackson pleading guilty to Murder in the First Degree in Furtherance of an Act of Terrorism, Murder in the Second Degree as a Crime of Terrorism, Murder in the Second Degree as a Hate Crime, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree. He is expected to receive the maximum sentence of life in prison when he is sentenced next month.

That dude, notwithstanding what one might say regarding his white supremacist mindset, is dumber than the day is long! I mean, really. He travelled from the city having the fifth highest percentage of Black folks, meaning that in only five other cities are one's odds of encountering a Black person higher than in Baltimore, to a city that isn't even in the "top ten" in terms of the ratio of blacks to the total population. Having said that, white supremacists are, of course, inherently among the "dimmest lights in the candelabra," so maybe one shouldn't be surprised that Jackson undertook such an ill-considered trek.

Last time I checked there was no BLACK section nor WHITE section of the penal code.

Don't be naive. Non-whites are far more likely to be convicted of terrorism than whites. The bias is obvious.

White supremacists trying to disrupt non-white society are ideologically driven terrorists, no different than radical Islam that wants to disrupt secular humanism in favour of Shariah law. If they commit a crime in the name of white supremacy they should be charged as terrorists.

The case in the OP sets a new precedent and it's a good thing.

Do not confuse accuracy for naivete.

That is flawed application of the law rather than the laws themselves. There are a few cases where laws impact races differently. Crack vs. Cocaine laws for instance.

And I agree with charging White supremacists with terrorism when it is warranted.
