Using racial slurs is despicable and anyone who does it is human scum. But murdering somebody is far worse, yet one story gets more attention than the other.

I think everyone is outraged when a highly promising young man is killed. The reaction you're searching for is a specific reaction to the blackness of the killer and the whiteness of the victim. Valid position to have I suppose, but you seem to be rejecting or mocking tribalism in this post and others, so it seems inconsistent.

You know, I'd even grant you that liberals often default to engage in the same kind of tribalism by blaming antisocial pathologies in the black community solely on institutional oppression and obvious tribal resentment, but this schtick where you act above it all when you clearly have a side is insincere and weak.
