Washington (CNN)President Joe Biden has agreed "in principle" to French-brokered summit talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as long as Russia does not further invade Ukraine, the White House said late Sunday.
The meeting, according to press secretary Jen Psaki, would occur after US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov meet on February 24.
I know that’s what you want to believe but it sure seems like the opposite. Trump left NATO in disarray. Biden has maneuvered to get NATO back on the same page and succeeded. The Germans are willing to can the pipeline that Russia needs and the rest of Europe now wants to diversify away from Russian natural gas.Putin is playing Biden like a fiddle. It's only a matter of time until Putin gets what he wants which is a no NATO Ukraine agreement.
No one is going to shut off the pipeline to Germany in the winter. NATO isn't going to agree to let Germans and eastern Europeans freeze to death just to keep Russia out of the Ukraine.I know that’s what you want to believe but it sure seems like the opposite. If Russia invades, Russia’s main export gets shutdown causing an economic catastrophe for Russia.
Another rehearsed video meeting .
They cannot risk Sleepy wetting his pants again as he did when meeting the Pope .
Another one that sides with Russia.Putin is playing Biden like a fiddle. It's only a matter of time until Putin gets what he wants which is a no NATO Ukraine agreement.
Biden waived Trump sanctions on the pipeline which put Putin in the drivers seat in Europe and enabled him to do what he is now doing with Ukraine.I know that’s what you want to believe but it sure seems like the opposite. You’re just parroting Ted Cruz.Biden waived Trump sanctions on the pipeline which put Putin in the drivers seat in Europe and enabled him to do what he is now doing with Ukraine.
Biden put Putin in a position of power when he dropped Trumps sanctions. Now that Russia has spent billions on the nearly completed pipeline our attacking it would be an act of war and Russia would have legitimate reason to retaliate against our infrastructure. That's how fast this could spin out of control and involve us in a war with Russia. You’re just parroting Ted Cruz.
In the meantime, if Biden had not originally backed the pipeline, he wouldn’t have any leverage now.
Biden threatened to block Russia's Nord Stream 2 amid Ukraine tensions, but what is it?

FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — U.S. President Joe Biden has threatened to block the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline if Russia invades Ukraine.
The undersea pipeline directly links Russian gas to Europe via Germany and is complete but not yet operating. It has become a major target as Western governments try to deter a Russian attack on its neighbor.
In the past, it has been a source of tension between the U.S., which opposed the project, and Germany. Chancellor Olaf Scholz said all options were on the table but avoided mentioning Nord Stream 2 specifically at a news conference with Biden in Washington.
If Russian tanks roll into Ukraine, “there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2,” Biden said Monday. Scholz stressed the need to keep some ambiguity about sanctions to press Russia to deescalate.
Um, the pipeline isn't operational right now.No one is going to shut off the pipeline to Germany in the winter. NATO isn't going to agree to let Germans and eastern Europeans freeze to death just to keep Russia out of the Ukraine.
Russia knows this; they will invade and take whatever they want. They have the capital reserves and enough support from China to weather the sanctions.
Do you really think that the only way to stop Europe from using that pipeline is to attack it? Did you ever hear of these things called "valves?"Biden put Putin in a position of power when he dropped Trumps sanctions. No matter how we stop the pipeline at this point it's an attack on the strategic infrastructure of Russia and an act of war. At that point Russia has a legal right to retaliate against our infrastructure. This could quickly escalate and Biden gets full credit for putting us in this untenable position just as he put our troops in Afghanistan into at the airport.Do you really think that the only way to stop Europe from using that pipeline is to attack it? You... you don't know that there's a pipeline that runs natural gas from Russia to Germany and some eastern European countries?Um, the pipeline isn't operational right now.
The Germans are 86ing their nuclear power plants. So much for diversifying. They obviously have no problem being dependent on Russia. The Germans are willing to can the pipeline that Russia needs and the rest of Europe now wants to diversify away from Russian natural gas.
There are still others that send oil/gas to Europe. And Russia has had no problems with shutting off the faucets in the past.Um, the pipeline isn't operational right now.

When do they expect you back on the mother ship?Wrong.
Putin knows exactly what joe Biden is.
Joe Biden has fleeced millions of dollars from the Ukrainian people.
Putin knows this. Joe Biden will lick boots off camera, but talk tough when they're rolling.
Yeah, he doesn't know that...There are still others that send oil/gas to Europe. And Russia has had no problems with shutting off the faucets in the past.
