He knows nothing about the IRS auditing conservative groups even though he is the one who stood to gain from such audits. He knows nothing about the DOJ's investigating journalist at the AP. What happened in Benghazi was a tragedy. As were these 13 Benghazi's that happened on Bush's watch that you don't seem to give a damn about. And the "coverup" this far is in your head and being fed hyperbolistic biscuits by Fox News.
If you read any of my post on the topic you'd have read that I don't think it was right and it shouldn't be done. And I also find the fabricated outrage that is also extremely selective in that they ingore how under the Bush administration they targetted the NAACP and Greenpeace based simply on Republican requests to do so.
There is hardly nothing known about this so while I have a problem with such spying, I'm not ready to fly off the handle just because Fox says so. I'll logically wait for more info... info that isn't spun into a tizzy by partisans and their nonsense because thus far, you guys are batting a thousand.
Lot's of stuff but the things that bother me about him you'd not have a problem with. You just look for people to agree to hate Obama... unlike you, I look at policies I like and dislike. Obama stands for some things I like, some things I dislike while the GOP pretty much stands for nothing other than opposing whatever comes out of Obama's mouth. February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.
May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.
July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.

March 18, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.
July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.
September 17, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.
Parse it all you want to try and differentiate but your conspiracy hypotheses still won't pan out.

Secondly, the vast majority of people killed in the events you note were not American.
Finally, if you don't understand the significance of an American Ambassador being murdered, the first one in 40 years, since the Carter Presidency, then nothing I say is going to help you lift the blindfold.

Actually back last year as far as independents went, they had a choice between a candidate they had lost faith in, like fixing the economy and jobs. The other candidate they didn't trust. So the independent voter had to chose between someone they had no faith in or someone they didn't trust. This group of voters which made up 40% of the electorate pretty evenly split their vote 50-50. If you guys had given the voters a better candidate they could trust, then you wouldn't have to worry about as you put it, a know nothing.

The media coalition, headed by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and including major U.S. newspapers and television networks, responded that its members were “stunned” to learn of the Justice Department’s action.
“In the thirty years since the Department issued guidelines governing its subpoena practice as it relates to phone records from journalists, none of us can remember an instance where such an overreaching dragnet for newsgathering materials was deployed by the Department, particularly without notice to the affected reporters or an opportunity to seek judicial review,” the letter said. It charged that Justice “appears to have ignored or brushed aside almost every aspect” of its own guidelines governing subpoenas of the news media for testimony and evidence.
The signatories also called on the department to “explain how government lawyers overreached so egregiously in this matter” and describe what it would do “to mitigate the impact of these actions.” And it said Justice “should announce whether it has served any other pending news media-related subpoenas that have not yet been disclosed.”

So can we take these one at the time. On the IRS on friday, they gave one version of the story that's changed several times since then. So can you say plainly, does the president believe they are being truthful and does he think that the leadership there needs to change?
JAY CARNEY, WHITE HOUSE: Well, I don't understand how that tracks with your first sentence about assertion here. We have seen the reports, as the president said. And if the reports are true, he would consider them outrageous.

JAY CARNEY, WHITE HOUSE: Again, I don't have a reaction from President Obama. I can tell you people who make those kind of comparisons need to check their history. Because, you know, what we have here with one issue, in Benghazi, is so clearly, as we're learning more and more a political sideshow, a deliberate effort to politicize a tragedy.
The president feels very strongly about that, you heard him address that yesterday. On these other issues, these are things that we are finding out about and we need to wait appropriate for independent action to be completed before he can in any way take action on comment specifically on it. I think it is a reflection of the sort of rapid politicalization of everything that you have that kind of commentary. Everything becomes, you know, a huge political issue.
