Hi, JC. But any warrant can be challenged in court after the fact and the fruits of the warrant can be thrown out in any trial if found to be issued under false pretenses or improperly...................Correct ?..................So that hypothetical future action is merely part of our legal method ?.............................
So you don't see any problem with the death of four Americans and the cover up? You don't see any problem with the IRS focusing on Conservative Groups or the Justice Department checking phone records of the AP? Is there anything that this administration can do that would bother you? Does seem like you along with all the other Obama supporters have a double standard and overlook issues that you would demonize a Republican for
That's my understanding.
Ok. Because the AP's indignation appears to be coming from the fact that they had agreed to keep some facts unknown while this government terrorist sting was going. The idea that the American mass media is somehow 100% trustworthy is a joke................
White House in damage control mode as potential scandals pile up | Fox News
More examples of Obama incompetence and yet where is the outrage from the left?
I wouldn't see any problems with any of those things if this was Nazi Germany or Stalin's Russia but it's not. And this president has brought his Chicago style politics to the White house and the house of cards is falling down around him. I give him 6 months max. He will be impeached.
What does President Obama have in common with Sgt Shultz? He knows nothing, nothing. He knows nothing about the truth about Benghazi. He knows nothing about the IRS auditing conservative groups even though he is the one who stood to gain from such audits. He knows nothing about the DOJ's investigating journalist at the AP. He knows nothing about nothing. How the **** is this clown president? The American people are idiots. They know nothing!
So you don't see any problem with the death of four Americans and the cover up?

What happened in Benghazi was a tragedy. As were these 13 Benghazi's that happened on Bush's watch that you don't seem to give a damn about. And the "coverup" this far is in your head and being fed hyperbolistic biscuits by Fox News.
Wow - 13 American Ambassadors were murdered under GW's watch?? Who knew??

If you read any of my post on the topic you'd have read that I don't think it was right and it shouldn't be done. And I also find the fabricated outrage that is also extremely selective in that they ingore how under the Bush administration they targetted the NAACP and Greenpeace based simply on Republican requests to do so.
There is hardly nothing known about this so while I have a problem with such spying, I'm not ready to fly off the handle just because Fox says so. I'll logically wait for more info... info that isn't spun into a tizzy by partisans and their nonsense because thus far, you guys are batting a thousand.
Lot's of stuff but the things that bother me about him you'd not have a problem with. You just look for people to agree to hate Obama... unlike you, I look at policies I like and dislike. Obama stands for some things I like, some things I dislike while the GOP pretty much stands for nothing other than opposing whatever comes out of Obama's mouth. They stand for nothing unless it's a taxbreaks for Exxon.
You talking about double standards of others is probably the largest irony this board has ever seen.

My bad... I wasn't aware that you don't care about lives of people that aren't Ambassadors... like a US Diplomat and these other folks:
January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.
June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al Qaeda attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.
October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of "Bali Bombings." No fatalities.
February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.
May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al Qaeda terrorists storm the diplomatic compound, killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.
July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.
December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al Qaeda terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.
March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name "David Foy." This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what's considered American soil.)
September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting "Allahu akbar" storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.
January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.
March 18, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaeda-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.
July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.
September 17, 2008. Sana'a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.
Parse it all you want to try and differentiate but your conspiracy hypotheses still won't pan out.
You look foolish trying to defend what is obvious to most of us, I suppose if they were to start rounding people up, disappearing in the night you'd excuse that too.
To sum it up, no-nothings voted in a no-nothing.
Hey ***Clown, I never said that I thought Obama was going to round us up, just that you'd excuse it because your such a drone. What a  comment. Your conspiracy mindedness are already setting up scenarios of "OBAMA'S COMING TO TAKE U AND UR CHILDREN!!!!!111111!!!!"
No matter how loud you scream you are still just one person and screaming doesn't turn hot air into truth.
I thought it was kind of weird, MSNBC wheeling out Carl Bernstein this morning, as if the WH was standing between the Left and it's "dream"......................
Firstly, are you suggesting that this type of activity mysteriously stopped on September 2008 or just as President Obama was taking office?
Secondly, the vast majority of people killed in the events you note were not American.
Finally, if you don't understand the significance of an American Ambassador being murdered, the first one in 40 years, since the Carter Presidency, then nothing I say is going to help you lift the blindfold.

Actually back last year as far as independents went, they had a choice between a candidate they had lost faith in, like fixing the economy and jobs. The other candidate they didn't trust. So the independent voter had to chose between someone they had no faith in or someone they didn't trust. This group of voters which made up 40% of the electorate pretty evenly split their vote 50-50. If you guys had given the voters a better candidate they could trust, then you wouldn't have to worry about as you put it, a know nothing.

the AP's indignation appears to be coming from...
The media coalition, headed by the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press and including major U.S. newspapers and television networks, responded that its members were “stunned” to learn of the Justice Department’s action.
“In the thirty years since the Department issued guidelines governing its subpoena practice as it relates to phone records from journalists, none of us can remember an instance where such an overreaching dragnet for newsgathering materials was deployed by the Department, particularly without notice to the affected reporters or an opportunity to seek judicial review,” the letter said. It charged that Justice “appears to have ignored or brushed aside almost every aspect” of its own guidelines governing subpoenas of the news media for testimony and evidence.
The signatories also called on the department to “explain how government lawyers overreached so egregiously in this matter” and describe what it would do “to mitigate the impact of these actions.” And it said Justice “should announce whether it has served any other pending news media-related subpoenas that have not yet been disclosed.”
BRIAN WILLIAMS: "As a lot of American adults not so fondly remember, the last time the government was found looking into the phone calls of reporters and using the IRS for political purposes, it was the Nixon era, and while times have changed and circumstances are different that subject came up at the Obama White House today as the administration now scrambles on several fronts." (NBC Nightly News, May 14, 2013)
JESSICA YELLIN, CNN: Jay, you say check our history, rabid commentary. But you have to understand and hear how it sounds like the administration might be hiding something.
So can we take these one at the time. On the IRS on friday, they gave one version of the story that's changed several times since then. So can you say plainly, does the president believe they are being truthful and does he think that the leadership there needs to change?
JAY CARNEY, WHITE HOUSE: Well, I don't understand how that tracks with your first sentence about assertion here. We have seen the reports, as the president said. And if the reports are true, he would consider them outrageous.
REPORTER: President Obama is being compared to President Nixon. How does he feel about that?
JAY CARNEY, WHITE HOUSE: Again, I don't have a reaction from President Obama. I can tell you people who make those kind of comparisons need to check their history. Because, you know, what we have here with one issue, in Benghazi, is so clearly, as we're learning more and more a political sideshow, a deliberate effort to politicize a tragedy.
The president feels very strongly about that, you heard him address that yesterday. On these other issues, these are things that we are finding out about and we need to wait appropriate for independent action to be completed before he can in any way take action on comment specifically on it. I think it is a reflection of the sort of rapid politicalization of everything that you have that kind of commentary. Everything becomes, you know, a huge political issue. (White House Briefing, May 14, 2013)
JAY CARNEY: We have not seen the report. We have not independently collected information about what transpired. We need the independent inspector general’s report to be released before we can make judgments. You know, one person’s view of what actions were taken or what that individual did is not enough for us to say something concretely happened that was inappropriate.
Impt to note GOP groups flourished last 2 elections, overwhelming Ds. And they will use this to raise more $.
