WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The federal government could take stakes in other U.S. semiconductor companies or even move to other industries, White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett told CNBC in an interview on Monday following its stake in Intel.

wake the **** up.

Socialism: government ownership of the means of production.

Can anyone be surprised that the worthless pieces of shit who claimed to oppose "socialism" (while of course lying about what it is) are now moving to literally seize means of production? Will they be surprised when DP MAGAs celebrate the genius of socialism, simply because Trump wants to do it, and/or claim that socialism is not socialism because reasons.

I guess maga will be fine with a socialist windy the New York mayor race. Since they have gone socialist now.

Imagine if a Democrat did this?..
We don't have to imagine it. Just click on any of the hysterical threads featuring posts from the forum's economic knowers going apeshit over Mamdani, who literally has no power to change our country's economic system. Unlike Trump, but so far crickets from our staunch capitalism defenders. Probably because they can't defend it and haven't figured out a way to blame DEMON RATS for it.

Never thought I'd see the day that Republicans wanted an economic system like China's.

And as an advocate for socialism, you oppose this sort of thing why?

So is socialism good or bad. And if good, why do you oppose this?

And for the record, I oppose this

A replacement for corporate taxes?

Socialism is good for public services and education but I do not support government taking from businesses in this way..
