Things are worse because of the hype by the left, the race hustlers, the liberal politicians using this as a manipulative tool to control black vote.

wow right out of the gate....

heres the question i ask everybody who posts the dishonest stupidity you did and acts like its true but for some reason, it never gets answered . . .

85+% of black since like 1964 have voted for the left, millions and millions, generations . .

so simple question, if what you say is true, how come all those people haven't been able to figure it out like YOU magically have?🤔

😁 🍿

The racist animosity on the left is eclipsed by the racism on the left, though the tiny few they may be, whom believe minorities are incapable of helping themselves and thus need relief, not only because of racism but because of their own incapability. That was the original liberal position of Republican, as exemplified by Lincoln, who believed black people were wrongly enslaved but was himself a racist, believing them a lesser people.
Nobody does everything all by themselves. Thats just a fact of life.

Try looking.

Nobody is denying the existence of individual racists. BLM comes to mind. They only show up when whites are involved. Talk to them about black-on-black violence and you'll get crickets.

man can i call it or what LMAO
(see post 150#)
🍿 😂

Did you think I was talking about something else? Individual racists are the only kind of racists there are. They often congregate in groups of like-"minded" people, but there are no "racist hive minds."

Worse, of course.

Because of two treasons:

1. The Dems exaggerate things in order to get the African American vote. And this tactic does work.
this failed nonsensical claim again
same question to you as the other poster

There will always be racists. Therefore there will always be a degree of racism in the world.

I agree. That doesn't affect anything I've said in this thread.

True. I would say that most whites who are racist are "right-wing", but most blacks who are racists are "left-wing".

1. They apparently feel that they can get more things from the Dems than from the Republicans.

a. Dems nominate more of them as candidates for local office.

b. Dems support movements (such as BLM, singing the Black National Anthem, making sure that the Oscars and other show biz awards include more non-Caucasians, etc.).

c. Dems want to move more inner-city families to the suburbs.

d. Dems support reparations.

e. Dems want to stop bail based on money.

f. Dems want to teach CRT in school.

g. Dems support university entrance without any entrance requirements.

h. Dems demonize Republicans as racists who do not like certain ethnicities and want to harm them.

I can understand why 85% vote for the Dems, as you say.

The only surprise is that it is not 99%.

Oh so basically your dishonest bigotry tells you blacks are lazy and selfish, got it LMAO
thanks for proving my point 🤦‍♂️ 😂 🍿

What do you think/know is contributing to the change? Something the USA could learn/copy? Is it a specific policy or an educational campaign? That type of thing.

It's not a single, easily identifiable and simple answer I'm afraid.

One school head teacher has been criticised for being too authoritarian yet she turned one of the worst schools in the country into almost the top performing school in the country, another headteacher came in with a softly softly approach and turned his school around from rock bottom to top in London.
I guess what is common is really high expectations from the staff - whatever their philosophy and politics. They demand the kids work hard, they expect them to work hard and they drill that home every day and all day.
I posted on a different thread recently that one poverty stricken school this summer ended up with more students passing the Oxford/Cambridge entrance exam than the kids whose parents pay £42,000 a year for education at Eton.

55 kids in total going on to the best 2 Universities in the UK and purely on academic merit. 20 years ago, that wouldn't have been the case.

This is really a shame. The issue is not that things are worse for either race... and especially Black Americans. If anything things are better... body cams, cops getting charged with crimes and 1st Amendment auditors and people videoing almost literally everything. The problem is this new blame game... Critical Race Theory, systemic white racism... white privilege. Even with all this racism hurled at white people, white people still have a more positive outlook at race relations than black people do and even though more things are going on than ever to help black people... they have a more negative view of white people... again, taking us back to blame.

Positive ratings of racial relations were at a high point in 2004, according to Gallup, when 72% of American adults said they were very or somewhat good. Gallup's measurement of the subject has fluctuated, but remained steady — until 2015, when positive ratings plunged from 70% to 47%.
At least Jim Crow and slavery doesn't exist anymore and calling someone the N word is very frowned upon.

Nothing has really changed relative to race relations.
People like Kevin Hart, Denzel Washington, and Will Smith still make millions per each movie. They're black and I'm white. They're talented and so am I. Why the income disparity? I want to protest.

The best thing that has happened recently is that Black Lives Matter terrorist leaders are getting the message that black residents in their communities do not want fewer cops - they want more cops!!

I am happy to say that I have not read too much BLM bullcrap lately about income inequality between blacks and whites. I guess when you see over 14,000 really dark people from Haiti desperate to get into this country any way they can across our southern border, you have to ask yourself, "Why are those people of color wanting to get into this country if it is so racist and oppressive?". Don't they know that white supremacists will keep them from succeeding as we are told by Critical Race Theorists and '1619 Project' proponents?

I apologize if I hijacked the spirit of this thread by going beyond black-white relations.
And, I saw the big sign in front of a McDonald's today advertising for 14-15-year olds to come work for $15 an hour. I will never forget that sign as I look back on making $1.15 an hour minimum wage in 1962 as a bus boy,
So the Progressives are getting their wish to see hourly wages jump up to $15 an hour without any protests or legislation. Simply supply and demand for labor. Capitalism is a wonderful system if you love this country.

Here is an excerpt from an article in today's Wall St Journal:

Best of the Web

Income Inequality Is Often by Choice

The latest Census data show that America is still the land of opportunity.

As if one couldn’t tell by observing the daily crowds of people of color risking life and limb trying to enter the United States, America is not a fundamentally unjust society, but rather a beacon of hope for those fleeing injustice. New data from the Census Bureau confirm that the aspiring new citizens at our southern border are 100% correct that the U.S. remains the land of opportunity. Yet even as the rebounding U.S. economy continues to a be a global talent magnet, Democrats in Congress are still pushing the Bernie Sanders plan to disrupt American prosperity.
As the pols attempt to perform multi-trillion-dollar surgery on a U.S. economy in no need of government assistance, the argument rests on the specious claim that a sharp rise in U.S. income and wealth inequality necessitates a societal rearrangement. The Sanders myth is that Americans are trapped by greedy corporations and destined for low incomes. In truth Mr. Sanders sees no inequality problem when it comes to the bosses of communist dictatorships enriching themselves while their peoples share the equality of misery.
As for the United States, the good news is that the facts don’t bear out his socialist critique. Americans rise up and fall down the income ladder over time, in large part because of the individual decisions they make. Mr. Sanders is living proof, as he and his wife have chosen to build a personal fortune estimated at more than 25 times that of the median U.S. household.
Each of the rest of us enjoy a great chance to become as wealthy as Mr. Sanders. Shocking at it may be to those claiming American injustice, it turns out that income has a lot to do with how much people work.

At least Jim Crow and slavery doesn't exist anymore and calling someone the N word is very frowned upon.
Now all the Rap ringers and gangbangers have to do is get the N word out of their lyrics and out of their vocabulary. No small task.

lol bull. You people went batshit insane when a half black guy was elected president, to two terms, to the point where you backed some race baiting birther piece of shit all as payback for Obama's two terms.
Thats an idiotic thing to say. No wonder so many mindless libs loved it. People on the right opposed Obama because of his policies, not his skin color. The same people oppose Bidunce for the same reasons and hes about as white as they come.

lol, " his policies", eh? The tea party "patriots" said jack shit during bush's presidency as he jacked up the deficit, and went quiet during Trump, who did the same as well. There's literally videos of these idiots calling calling him a muslim terrorist, with racist signs aimed at him, and his wife. Then they backed the king birther piece of shit as their next president. You fool nobody. The hatred extended far beyond his "policies" which were hardly that progressive or left. Hell, Biden has governed significantly more to the left than Obama ever did, and yet polls still show people consider him less liberal than Obama.

Kudos to the UK. That would be amazing here. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of teachers that want what's best for the student and want to demand the best from them. We coddle our school kids too much, and on this I blame those parents that are more interested in their kids in sports and run screaming to the school if poor little Johnny has too much homework. Add to that, that everyone gets a participation trophy, and we have very uninspired children.

We have that in our non-school local / technical colleges but it's the philosophy of the sector. If you join a course, you are expected to pass. No matter how little effort put in or whether you can actually do the subject.

At High School - I would have to demonstrate ability and talent to be allowed to study music or acting for example whereas in our Further Education sector, I (can't sing to save my life) but because I have the general grades - I could for example apply to a music course and they have to 1) take me 2) pass me.

Thankfully, our school 6th forms are allowed to demand and reject unsuitable / failing applicants. That's our equivalent to participation trophies.

And which party is trying to overturn that legislation - right up to and including the voting rights act itself?
That’s the problem right there. Go right to tribalism. Finger pointing, blaming, right against left, black against white, etc etc. I’m more about finding a way to overcome it, than assigning blame.
