The Democratic establishment descended on the Hamptons this weekend for something of a political royal wedding that brought together the worlds of big-money politics and Clinton-era insiders.
The newlyweds were Alex Soros, the son of George Soros, the Democratic Party’s most generous patron, and Huma Abedin, a political aide who has been described as almost a daughter to Hillary Clinton, the former first lady and secretary of state. Held on Saturday at a Soros family estate in Water Mill, N.Y., the wedding drew private jets and Clinton aides galore in a rare concentration of wealth and power.
Beyond the couple’s families, the guest list included Mrs. Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton; former Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff; Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic minority leaders from New York; former Speaker Nancy Pelosi; celebrities like Nicky Hilton Rothschild; cultural figures like the Vogue editor Anna Wintour; longtime Clinton friends like the San Francisco power broker Susie Tompkins Buell; and foreign dignitaries like the prime minister of Albania, Edi Rama.
The vocal group Boyz II Men performed at the wedding, according to two of the attendees, and speakers giving toasts included Mr. Soros’s brother Jonathan, Mrs. Clinton, Ms. Wintour and Mr. Rama. Dishes included truffle agnolotti, chilled English pea soup and an American Wagyu bavette and grilled prawns.

Oh well, the peasants are doing their part while the leftwing aristocracy have their celebration. Today, the peasants will go back to their humdrum lives and the aristocracy will meet up later at the wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

I hope they have a very happy life together.
Ditto.

I don't even know what this thread was posted. Ok, maybe it's news worthy. Or maybe after yesterday's embarrassment, we needed to post a thread about Globalists and Jews spending big on a wedding and somehow connecting that to...........
peasants?

(Maybe a few snarky suggestions being made that other Righties might pick up on?)

Congratulations to the new couple!

Wishing them years of happiness.

Thanks for letting us know about the wedding @Mycroft - didn’t know you paid attention to who was/wasn’t getting married

Do you have a list of upcoming weddings that you can share?

Something about George Soros, the Democrats, the Clintons, Jewish power brokers, leftwing aristocracy and peasants.

Otherwise, like you, I am not rightwing enough to understand what the grievance is
Perhaps the chicken was dry.

Do you rent a fishing boat in Russia?

Rich people do quickie weddings, too.

What exactly is the point of the thread?
@Mycroft trying to distract from the fact that Donald is an aristocrat and a puppet of the monied elite, and $45M of taxpayer money spent so he could feel bigly as military PEW PEW marched by him is not only poor optics at this point in time but a waste of money better spent on actually supporting veterans.

Was any taxpayer's money used at this 'celebration'?.. I know $45 million taxpayers was used on a birthday parade celebration..

The peasants were marching for king Taco.

What happened to your rapey felonious king's birthday party?

Going out of one's way to post a bitter rant thread about this is...curious.

Particularly in light of the fact that Dear Leader regularly holds fetes for himself at Mar-a-Lago, with multi-millionaire in attendance.
