Which working class provision in the BBB - Big Beautiful Bill do you wish Democrats would support?
All of it.

The fact that not a single Democrat voted for the bill just goes to show how much they hate Trump...even if their actions **** over the American public.

I'm not sure I can write on this venue what I think Democrats should do next. Maybe give their bullshit a rest if they want to gain traction going toward the future?

Doesn't matter, I doubt any Dem would vote for any, after all - Trump.
Even if they found one they thought would be of benefit for them they would privately vote for it, but publicly deny it.

The issue is that, yes, we may save money in some arenas. But, thousands will suffer and die because of the healthcare cuts.
I cant speak for others, but for me that's a deal breaker.

This is a halfwitted and foolish comment.
I dont hate Trump.
I just have the foresight to understand how much suffering and death his bbb will cause.
Donalds sycophants are oblivious.

The permanent 12% tax bracket (as opposed to 15% prior to Trump).
Sure, put that in a stand-alone bill and I'll support it.

Soft no, unless it's offset with tax increases elsewhere.

No Tax On Tips. Deduct $25,000 for tip income.
No. Dumb.

No Tax On Overtime. Deduct $12,500 for overtime pay.
No. Dumb.

Standard Deduction Increase of $1,000.
Sure, put that in a stand-alone bill and I'll support it.

Deduct $10,000 annually on interest for U.S.-assembled car loans.
No. Dumb.

Deduct $6000 if you are age 65 or older.
No. Dumb.

However, this entire list is missing the point that we should be reducing the deficit rather than increasing it. ALL of these would increase the deficit, at least a little bit. And some of them are stupid for non-budgetary reasons too.

In this case, Trump has nothing to do with it.

What Democrats have difficulty understanding is why you people are so intent on taking as much money as possible from the poorest Americans and giving it to the richest Americans. It seems as if you are just hell bent on ******* over the bottom half of Americans. Do you really think it makes sense to take $700 from people making $20,000 and giving it to Elon Musk?

Human beings living with dignity.
I am hoping there's a way.

Lol no mention of ****ing Medicaid users, higher energy prices, and giveaways to billionaires and industry lol.

This bill is a gigantic GO **** YOURSELF AND EAT CAKE moment for the GOP, and y'all are cute thinking there won't be consequences.

Yikes, when you put it like this, it’s clear he’s throwing us peanuts considering he’s spending an extra $4trillion on this shit.

Some people are so easy to fool.

Oh, we started that today with the Republcians fist pumping each other over kicking Americans off Medicaid. The big fascist bill is a boon to the Dems.

good poll. I chose increasing the standard deduction - freeing up potential taxpayers from even filing and perhaps paying taxes
Deduct $10,000 annually on interest for U.S.-assembled car loans - ( no need to explain the value in that)

The permanent 12 % tax bracket (as opposed to 15% prior to Trump)- Is this the minimum corp tax to 12% in the BBB?
It' important to grow the economy and attract foreign investment

some talking head was saying the Dems could have gotten something from Trump in exchange for votes for the BBB
But i got to thinking....what could Trump and the Dems agree on for horse trading? Less ICE? / no. More allowances? Maybe.
This bill is a pander bar special loaded down with goodies. Maybe some Medicade cuts, but that was already sliced and diced like mincemeat

Perhaps the ability of MS parties to make deals is over because both sides don't want to be part of the other's policies
