I think both sides hate each other equally.

I think Trumplicans hate Republicans with the heat of a thousand suns.

I belong to two political forums. At one, the Dems really "dislike" the GOP, especially The Donald. At the other one, the GOPers really ...


I have never been to Facebook or Twitter.

My best guess is that many Dems think that GOPers are cruel people who are racists and homophobes and misogynists.

And that many GOPers think Dems are totalitarians whose slogan is "My way or the highway."
 
The problem is you hate each other period. It has not so much to do with politics as it has to do with the hateful BS that is spread in the media and on social networks. You have been so consumed with what divides you you have lost sight of what binds you. It will only get worse until enough people decide to talk to each other instead of listen to those who are profiting both politically and financially from the hate.

The poll results depend on the number of Hate Filled People that show up to vote about how much they are good and the others hate them.

The only neutral non-biased votes are those that vote they hate each other equally.

I do my best not to HATE anyone. Some times it's difficult. I've alway believed we're all Americans with many of the same goals and beliefs; that's getting harder and harder to believe.

Folks, this is what the brainwashing of the mainstream media does to a person. And I'm certain there are an equal number on the left who believe similarly. That is the real enemy of the people, for all of us. Because it fearmongers and foments dissent for profit.

The problem is that lefties don't understand the the right encompasses a broader spectrum under its umbrella, Unlike them we don't march in strict formation, never wandering left or right from the footsteps left by our leaders. Ironically they accuse of being a Cult while their sing every mantra in four part harmony. Full disclosure I'm not Cheney's #1 fan. Or even #2 :ROFLMAO:

I do think they have totally lost their way following clearly radical power grabbers, and discarding the people in their party that have represented Republican/Conservative policies for many many years.

To answer the poll, I think Crazy Republicans hate Democrats more .... I don't think all Republicans are crazy, but there seem to be few around anymore exhibiting any backbone.

To be fair, there were some DP right wingers, (can't remember names) who recently and inaccurately labeled Cheney a RINO.

Of course, the logical fail of the above poster, is that he used the broad brush or didn't do his homework. Logically, both are the same thing... He's just putting it out there and hoping it sticks.

Does it really matter? The antagonism is paralysising governance (except government militarism). Maybe it might be wiser to seek suggestions on how to lessen the level of antagonism from hate down to constructive rivalry.

Just ask yourself the following:

Which side refers to people on the others side with the most vile, over the top labels in the English language, such as "Nazi" "racist" and "bigot" in order to discredit their views?
When the two sides meet in protest, what side regularly resorts to physically attacking members of the other side?
What side labels political speech they disagree with as "hate speech"?
Which side uses and/or condones the use of racial epithets to describe minorities on the other side of the political spectrum that they disagree with?
What side engages in violence and destruction to try an prevent people from the other side from speaking publicly?
What side encourages and supports efforts made by social media companies to silence political speech they disagree with?
What side supports government efforts to stifle opposing political views under the guise of hate speech?
What side do you hear members suggest incarceration for people espousing various political views they disagree with?
What side's hatred led them to manufacture phony documents against a sitting president in order to support their false allegations that he was a traitor... a crime punishable by death?
What side authorized federal law enforcement to go after parents on the other side as domestic terrorists, because they objected to some of the policies and curriculum at schools where their children were being taught?

One side's actions toward the other make it clear that there is a distinction, and make it clear where the distinction lies.

Social media both helps and hinders. We hide behind anonymity after all, so writing hateful stuff we wouldn't dare say to each other irl is easy. I rather everyone would take into consideration that those on the opposing side are real people with real feelings, just with opinions different then ours. We don't have to hate on each other or measure which side does it more just so we can sling some more mud at each other.
Positive change happens when people come together, but hateful rhetoric isn't very inviting, regardless of sides.
