Biden said it was a team that will provide the intelligence he needs to hear, not the intelligence he wants to hear. "It's a team that reflects the fact that America is back, ready to lead the world. They embody my core beliefs that America is strongest when it works with its allies," Biden said.

President Trump has fired secretaries of state, secretaries of defense, national security advisors, directors of intelligence, directors of the FBI, and directors of homeland security for providing intelligence he did not want to hear. He has replaced them with political sycophants with little or no experience, but they tell him what he wants to hear.

Trump scorns views that are different from his own. As a consequence, he has the highest turnover rate of any President. Tracking turnover in the Trump administration

That is why America has become isolated. Under President Trump, we no longer have allies. The leaders of our former allies want nothing to do with Trump.

Yesterday, President Trump continued his assault on American democracy by attacking the very basis of that democracy, free, unfettered elections. "Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!" Trump tweeted.

Trump is the first -- and most likely the last -- President to choose Twitter to make his outrageous official Presidential statements. Twitter is one-way communication. Trump uses Twitter because no one else is around, no reporters, no White House staff, and, most importantly, not the American people.

A President is in serious trouble and is highly vulnerable due to his own activities when he is too embarrassed to face the American people. Trump has not faced our reporters' questions in twenty-one days.

Happily, President Trump will be gone in less than two months. He is a lame duck, and it no longer matters what he says or does. Few will listen to him. Will he concede? Who cares?

Many are looking forward to Jan. 20 and a return to sanity. As one person put it, "We all long for the time when politics will be boring again."
 
Biden was the first presidential candidate in over a century to not hold even one open press conference.

If you are right and Biden won the election, it is the will of the people that presidents NEVER take reporter's questions other than hand picked friendly questions.
 
The obvious and only sensible answer is that I would prefer a President who listens to expert advice. One of the many many reasons I voted for Biden, and have very little respect for those who did not.

I'm not sure anyone will ever see America as a reliable ally ever again given that in 4 years time, the crazies could elect someone worse than Trump who will tear apart ANY and ALL agreements, deals and understandings the previous administration has implemented.

Trump had 100% negative press coverage because he was a 100% disaster for the entirety of his presidency. But you're right, it's not surprising that people who don't accept that Trump was a disaster would also not accept that Biden won.

The press didn’t force Trump to be a complete asshole. They only provided the venue for him to show the world what an asshole he is.

He began with a lie about his crowd size and he ended with a lie about voter fraud from Venezuelan voting machines. He hated the press coverage because they exposed his lies.

I guess you must have missed the fact that roughly half the country didn't want Biden. There are close to 73 million voters who will be ready to vote Trump in 2024 that voted for him this time and I'm sure that some 5 million dead people who voted Biden will not vote next election and another 5-8 million will be more closely monitored for making sure they are who they claim before they get to vote Biden again.

Sure, Trump puts some cracks in the foundation of faith, trust, and confidence America has built with it’s allies over centuries, but there’s no reason to believe that damage can’t be repaired.

Virtually all of our allies have already responded to Biden’s election in very positive terms.

The so called "press" hated Trump. I have deep memories of this. They called him yucky and stuff and even FoxNews turned on him at the end.

We've had one Trump. That is the proof that it can happen again. Hopefully we’ve learned a valuable lesson that will help in preventing it from happening again.

Stop exaggerating. The attacks started from day one of his announcement that he might run. The press failed to do the job of honest reporting and instead became the propaganda arm of the democrats. The fake news supported every rumor without evidence and failed to correct their misinformation on issues like Russia Collusion and FISA warrant abuse, and spying on the Trump campaign, and Ukranian whistleblowers.
