Where is the concern when the domestic abuse victim is male?

Yes, that is where the myth of women having higher pain tolerance comes from. It's however just that, a myth.
It's a myth that women give birth to children, or that it hurts?

I would imagine they would. The fact is the advantage comes in due to oxygen usage, increased body fat, smaller hearts, and increased estrogen levels that helps protect muscles. In a fight this wouldn't help them much at all.
No, body parts alone don't do much. The most useful part of your body in a fight is your mind. It doesn't matter if it's an 80 lbs woman against a 400lbs strong man competitor. A few good tactical strikes the big dude could be on the ground crying.

The only way size wins you a fight is if you are Godzilla.

No, black equality is about equality of blacks, hence the term equality. Equality of the sexes has no time in it for feminism. Just like equality of the races has no room in it for racism.

Feminism is to equality if the sexes as racism is to equality if the races.

Look at the suffix.
so, women have always been legally equal to men?

Henrin, pain tolerance is not related to "sex" it is the bodies ability to tolerate pain.

Which biological facts related to sex have an influence on.

Tolerating pain is not a measure of will power or personal endurance, it is the bodies response to pain

I'm aware of that.

It is not a positive to have a high pain threshold. That is the bodies way of alerting us to danger...if one can't detect danger, one dies

Umm..the difference isn't large enough to be dangerous.

I was going into the reasons for women having higher endurance.

It's a myth that women give birth to children, or that it hurts?

No, both of those are true. The myth of women having higher pain tolerance exists because of pregnancy and the level of pain that is experienced because of it.

I agree, but you're kidding yourself if you think that is likely to happen. Even the smartest fighter will likely lose against a much larger and stronger opponent.

No, but feminism doesn't gain equality for the sexes any quicker than racism gains equality for the races.

noun
noun: feminism

the advocacy of women's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.

rac·ism

noun
noun: racism

the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

this explanation does not make sense when examining the definitions of each word

I do not understand what you are saying

Does having superior size and strength render one helpless, as you seem content to characterize women?

I will say in almost every case yes. I am 6'4" 300lbs and still very strong for a 56 year old man. Just accidental collisions with women playing sports ended up with the woman being injured. I could never comprehend when it would be considered OK for a man my size to strike a woman. I would most likely kill someone if I did. Always call the police when assaulted. Especially by minors or women. Man on man may seem like a fair fight but don't do it. A friend of mine hit a drunk who took a swing at him and killed the person with a single blow. He almost went to prison over it. Clearly self defense with luckily plenty of witnesses.

you are wrong...I am a female, and I have an incredibly high pain threshold it is not a positive ...once the body reaches it's max with pain, you may well be able to endure it but your body can not, your organs can not...blood pressure begins to drop, if your blood pressure drops too low, you are going to die

trust me, I know this from personal experience

I was going into the reasons for women having higher endurance.
it is not sexually specific, it is the way bodies respond to danger...your body will respond to preserve you...be it intense pain or numbing the pain so you can make it across a battle field upon your feet

you had just best hope your body interprets pain signals best for the situation, otherwise you WILL die, I guarantee it

I have been in the situation with a violent partner when I was younger. The police did arrest her and not me. So for the men out there don't stay in an abusive relationship. When I first went out with this women she told me how all the previous men beat her up. It didn't take long to see she provoked the men into striking her back. She had a drinking problem and would start pushing buttons and even hitting if she didn't get a response. She hit me hard enough to give me a black eye and break her finger. When I told her I was calling the police she called them first and tried to blame the attack on me. It did not take the police long to see through her problem. She was arrested and convicted of minor assault. She actually ended up hitting the cop. But the best part is she now has the record for violence and the next time she tries to blame it on the man, and she will lie when drinking, this conviction will be there. It could save an innocent person a prison sentence.

Thank you for sharing. In USA that is possible, in UK a man is almost always the one arrested.

Unfortunately there is tremendous discrimination against men in criminal justice system -- particularly in case of Domestic Violence.

While that is an informative post, it doesn't debunk or even deal with anything I said.

The only reason it happened is because she actually caused physical damage. If that didn't happen he would have been arrested.

Either way end the relationship. It is only a matter of time before you are drug down to their level. Also have faith in the police. Even the UK. You might be surprised how many domestic violence calls an officer responds to. Most police emphasizes on domestic violence training. I was an MP and we even had extensive training on domestic violence going back to the late 70's. The police are most likely better trained than you think in this area. They can usually figure out who is lying. Even police eventually get good at what they do. Just kidding.

apparently NOT...see below from a life experience

Thank you. In any case had it not been for many men (and some great women!) complaining and protesting inequality since 1980s, the situation would have been much worse. Still there is significant discrimination against male victims of DV.

Unfortunately in most cases both parties are to blame.

How you present yourself to the police will determine if you are arrested. If you are calm and respectful to the officer following his instructions you will be surprised. When the police showed up the first thing they did was handcuff me for both our protection. As a former cop I expected them to do this. She called and and a person my size has to be considered dangerous. She did all the talking or should I say lying and I never said a word till they asked for my version. Before I could even start talking she started yelling and calling me a liar. When they tried to quiet her down so I could tell my side she eventually started arguing with the cop. It was not long before she slapped the cop. Game over.

The handcuffs went on her and off to jail she went. I was then released from my cuffs and the officer took my side of the story. I even went to court but she plead guilty and was sentenced.

How you present yourself to the police will make a major difference in how you are treated. If you are drunk when the police arrive it will definitely hurt your case. You will most likely be the cause of your arrest.

Lol, prove it.

I do not understand what you are saying
I will say it again as simply as I can.

Feminism is not about equality.

feminism is not about equality to YOU

to me, it is

perspective is not truth it is personal and relies upon ability to understand and depth of character to remain open

we shall have to agree to disagree and leave it thus

I wasn't explaining a perspective.

Sorry, I can agree that you are mistaken. But if you disagree with reality, I can't agree with that.

If it was equality it would be called equally.
